Released cos of ownership shenanigans to do with the club I heard.

I'd take him. Can't hurt.

I would take him, not only would he add to our very weak goal threat, he would also do a job defending set pieces

Would he risk his relationship with the Chelsea fans by coming here? Doubt it. Did he even get on with AVB?

Would take him, but I don't expect he'll be coming. Would imagine Juventus would be sniffing though, then they can send Bendtner back!

Would be hilarious for the 'chelsea legend' to score against them.

I'd have him. Wages too much though and would he want to come to us?

Clashed with AVB, non-runner. Wouldnt surprise if Levy made a move for him without consulting AVB mind you.

I expect him to join Barca or at a push the Red Scouse who are desperate for a Carroll replacement.

According to some of the ITK, Llorente wanted £150k per week and Levy said No.

Why would Levy pay over £200k per week, and a three-year contract to the 34-year-old Drogba, whose game is based on physicality and speed?

The 31-year-old Berbatov, whose game is based on technique and anticipation, whose wages are half those of Drogba, and whose footballing brain is precisely what we were missing today, would have been a much better use of those millions.

Drogba cannot be signed by an English (or German/Italian/Spanish/Portuguese) club unless he was released before midnight last night.

He can still sign for a French or Russian club so.... PSG? Return to Marseilles? Anzhi to join up with Eto'o? CSKA to play for Roman's 'other club'?

We can't get him until January.

To sign a free agent after the deadline, they need to be a free agent before the deadline passes. Drogba wasn't, so it's a no go.
