Man Utd and Arsenal results I think could help us. Seeing as we’ve played them both, and with both Newcastle and West Ham to play soon, it could be a great little phase of the cup for us.

Ten Hag has to face the cameras now. Will he front up and just say "we were shit and I have to take a large part of the blame for that" or will he just come out with some bollocks excuse?

For the record, that’s TWO games Arsenal have lost this season. And our Loss was a Draw that went to penalties

Alex Scott was good again tonight against Liverpool. He's been very impressive playing in CM for Bournemouth. He seems like an ideal option instead of Connor Gallagher next summer.

He's apparently making them work too hard in training. Poor little lambs
To be fair, we had this with Conte.

If you overwork players and they start picking up niggles, which United have been, it may be wise to manage the workload.

Take Varane for example, he is injured a lot, but who is to say that Ten Hag is not managing him well and when he complains of strain, Ten Hag just keeps pushing him.

Thats just not wise.

Ten Hag has been doing the same as Conte and overusing the same players. Little rotation and chances for others.

Mount is such a remarkably average player. Honestly have no idea why Utd bought him. No idea how Chelsea managed to get so much for him and Havatz in one window.
In a system that has quality around him, Mount is actually useful as he us energétic and can press all day which gives the others chances. Also got good movement.

Other than that, he is very average and when you stick him next to poorer players or a crap system his level really shows.

4 years into the rebuild and 665m spent, changing 5 outfield players shouldn't have that bigger impact.

They clearly wernt fussed on progressing.

I always think that mesage is reinforced by making that many changes.

I don't know why but it would be so like Chelsea to win this thing while finishing 10th again.

I think bringing Rice on after 50ish minutes tells a different story.

I imagine, since they only made 1 change in defence, that they thought the could keep them at bay to see if their attack could unlock them and if not, they would bring in Saka and Martinelli to win it.

Can’t decide who I want to win this Chelsea v Newcastle tie. Grim either way.
