If I’m honest, I totally forgot we’d be in the 2nd round as it’s been soon long since we’ve had a season minus European football of some description.

At least with our style of play we know whichever line-up Ange puts out is going to play to dominate the game and win which will give us the best chance anyway.

I don’t really fear any fixture now although obviously a slightly easier draw would’ve been nice.

To be fair... we haven't exactly set the world on fire against so called "smaller" clubs in the cups in recent years... so with a new manager and a tough draw it might keep us awake.

I think it might make the players apply themselves a bit more than they would away to Wrexham or whoever. Suspect that Ange will take the competition very seriously and try to get that into the players minds.
