He does block Colwill who’d be challenging Van Dijk. Harsh, but I think that’s offside personally.

He's looking straight at him and sets a pick like it's basketball. If it was against anyone else but Chelsea it wouldn't be an issue on here.

You see on the last replay from behind Liverpool's goal that Chilwell is marking VVD, not Colwill. Blocking off Colwill doesn't do anything to the phase of play.

Absolutely scandalous.

He does blatantly block Colwill, it's just unknown whether Colwill being there would make that much of a difference.

Officials are doing absolutely everything in their power to ruin football. The aim of the game is to quite literally score goals and they’re making it harder and harder for teams to do that.

So blocking players = bad

unless it’s the goalkeeper which = good
If the player blocking the goalkeeper is offside, then it will be given as offside. I don’t like or agree with that offside but the blocking on goalkeepers is a different issue as Endo has been penalised for interfering with the play from an offside position - he hasn’t been penalised for a foul.

I’m so torn, I love that for the banter but also don’t want Poch to win a cup with Chelsea.

It was an intentional block, you could say it’s good tactical play but it’s also cynical.

On the plus side listening to Carragher throw his toys out the pram at Owen is quite fun

Is this the first time VAR has screwed Liverpool over since the war crimes they endured in N17 earlier this season?

Such a shit decision. May as well blow the whistle after every free kick goes in the box. VAR has made officiating more of a shitshow than it was before.

VAR should have been a good thing for football, to make the decisions more accurate, but the incompetence of the officials have made the concept of VAR crap.

So why is it ok to impede Vicario at corners....?

There's just no conaistency.
