Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is eyeing Argentinian defender Emanuel Mammana.
Pochettino has received good scouting reports on the 19-year-old River Plate centre half after he impressed playing for Argentina's under-20s recently in the South American championship.
He has also won a senior cap, having made his debut for the Albiceleste in a 2-0 win over Slovenia, prior to last year's World Cup.
Spurs could face competition from Atletico Madrid who are watching the player, whose contract expires in 2018.
Mammana currently plays with Atleti manager Diego Simeone's son, Giovanni, at both River and with the national team.
