So we got to the final of the U'21's via a penalty shoot out and than we revert to type. Ball retention poor, movement off the ball poor, territorial possession poor. Long balls high, set pieces high, stupidity high.
With players such as Cattermole, Muamba and Noble, none ball playing players in the middle what did we expect?
This should be a lesson for the whole England coaching network...if we really want to improve our standing in world footall we need to promote players with skill, vision and football intelligence.
