Think you quoted the wrong person.200k for Kane and N'Dombele (and offered to Eriksen) is pretty high.
Edit: just realised my typo, amended

I have read your posts and you always think doom is coming and all our problems are caused simply by us not spending enough money.
I agree. There was a time when we were praised for our transfer strategy.
We bought players like Carrick, Bale, Berbatov and Modric, helped develop them and get several good seasons out of them then sell at a profit and reinvest.
Whatever our transfer setup is at the moment it is not the best.
Lol, if you genuinely are unaware that we offered Eriksen and Alderweireld high wages and if you genuinely believe wages are all that is needed to make players not want to move to the truly elite clubs.we missed the biggest opportunity to win a championship since 85 in building that stadium at and the related Infrastructure , we will lose 3 key members of squad due to wages.

No offence intended but I don’t think you are intelligent enough to have a conversation with.
Do you actually believe that we went into that summer window intending to not buy anyone?! Even though de Jong has said he turned us down? Even though Grealish had basically packed his bags (popular signing that would have been)? Christ on a bike.our recent transfer policy has been to not buy any players. its going to take more than one window to sort that out. I think most people realized while it was happening we were getting thin but looking at it now its a bit mind-boggling. with or without Poch its going to be painful for a while.

Fine, but what you wrote was that it was policy to not buy anyone, which means that it would have been planned that way. There is no chance that was the case.no, I believe we actually didnt buy anyone for a year and a half before this summer. if our policy was to add to the roster in that time frame we executed it miserably.

What an inane statement. The chickens are coming home to Roost, I cant understand why players would want to leave the greatest Training ground, Sainburys and the stadium.
Oh they can get paid double else where.
Exactly - it's all about the ROI. The only types that would be willing and able to buy us would be the same types who bought Man City and PSG who would want to use us to polish their images on the world stage.Actually, that’s exactly the time sugar daddy’s buy clubs. Look at Chelsea, Rom got them much cheaper than he would have been able to get us because they were in financial mess. Abu Dhabi got City cheap and with a brand new stadium gifted to them by the city of Manchester.
The massive problem is that anybody interested in buying us now will want to do it for a business investment. No sugar daddy is gonna put £1bn in to buy us and then another £500m to beef up the squad and wages.
No, I doubt they would. The hallmark of the takeovers of City, PSG, Chelsea was that they were able to buy the clubs cheaply and pour all their resources into making them powerful.Exactly - it's all about the ROI. I reckon they still might be willing to take a punt if it meant they could lord it up around the world painting themselves as patrons of sport rather than despots. No, I doubt they would. Whoever owns us next will need to pay over a billion before they get started. To me, it makes it far more likely to be another investor who sees it as a long term business venture.
2 x NFL games coming up and the hog roast on Sunday 27th for rich people....I reckon they still might be willing to take a punt if it meant they could lord it up around the world painting themselves as patrons of sport rather than despots.
That said, I don't see anyone shelling out for Spurs if I'm being honest - it's just too much money. What's the return on investment for them?
I don't see the problem. We have a great squad, jam-packed with young talent, probably the best stadium in the world. What we don't have is a manager who is getting the most out of our raft of international players.

A coach like Allegri could also change Eriksen’s mind I think, tooI don't see the problem. We have a great squad, jam-packed with young talent, probably the best stadium in the world. What we don't have is a manager who is getting the most out of our raft of international players.
