I was gonna add some more emojis but didn't want to give the game away.

I thought you’d left here and joined TFC? You seemed pretty angry about the mods here on there for some reason.
Great to see you back.
Levy will be happy you are straddling your opinions on his stewardship on both forums my dude.

I used to defend them, but I've got to be honest. The five defensive managers he's gone for - Santini, Ramos, AVB, Mourinho and Nuno - is just too many for me. Win or lose, I simply don't want to watch that type of football.

“We shall focus on the recruitment of a new Head Coach. We are acutely aware of the need to select someone whose values reflect those of our great Club and return to playing football with the style for which we are known – free-flowing, attacking and entertaining”

guess who

what does it say about Levy‘s competence if that was the plan and he ended up with Nuno

Think it’s pretty clear now as many suspected at the time it was nothing more than a fake BS statement to appease the fans, he has a low opinion of fans intellect and yet still garners much support so go figure.

A negative comment here on eniccommunity and you’re setting yourself up for a week long debate on the fantastic job they’re doing.

I personally blame Nuno for the last 20 years so I’m covered…

Not like it's well known fact that Nuno was chosen by Paratici not Levy

No one is allowed to criticise ENIC his followers are prepared to sacrifice themselves for them nor are you allowed opinion for some strange reason.

Have come to the conclusion we will win nothing but architectural awards until they are gone. Not enough investment when we had a good team and manager, which we are still paying for. What investment there has been has not been good enough, no due diligence when signing nDombele, not to mention the obvious lack of poor scouting under their tenure. Under them we will be forever gambling on the next big thing, while wasting one of the best strikers in the world at the same time.
We will be forever settling instead of putting in proper investment, we settled on Nuno, instead of investing in a Conte. We settled on Dier and Sanchez, becuse it was easier that paying on addressing the problem and we settled on Kane and Son when we obviously knew we needed more up front.
I support from Ireland and rarely get to games but I can never understand why there have not been more protests to their tenure, yes we have a great stadium, but we have no Hoddle, no Gazza, no Bale, no trophies and lately we have none of our flair, I cannot wait to see the back of Levy and co so we can get back to being a football club and not a business.

This is going to be a long, long season. We are terrible, haven’t invested in the team again and we are not going to paper over the cracks with Harry not caring and Nuno not really having a clue.

We will get fed more shit from Levy when Nuno gets sacked but once again it’ll be all talk and not fucking action.

This man has done wonders off the pitch but on it, which is what fucking matter, we are sinking fast

They need to leave, if they don’t we will be Newcastle very quickly

I think the narrative that ENIC haven’t invested in the side is a bit unfair. They have, not as much as Utd, Chelsea, City, Liverpool etc. But we don’t have their resources. The issue is that when we have invested we have in the large wasted the money.
The managerial appoint have on the whole been poor and Nuno is another one. The best managers during their time have all tried to play attacking football, Jol, Redknapp and Poch. Levy needs to stay out of the footballing side altogether but this season is going to painful.

Bang on, but very unlikely that will happen.

Like you say, we have spent, but it seems Levy has only stepped in to stop deals that would have been good. Shame he didn’t stop someone buying NDombele

well I'm shocked, after that crap and completely inept performance I was really expecting a massive meltdown.

there was no fight in a very understrength team today that looked near on like having 8 Harry Winks out there playing today.

Wonders off the pitch?

He borrows a billion pounds to build a stadium and that makes him a genius?

If he hadn't tinkered and changed plans half way through it wouldn't have been 2 seasons late and cost double the initial cost.

I would respectfully argue that 80% of people on this forum could get a stadium built for a billion quid with zero experience.

I don't buy the narrative he is a genius. He go the job through nepotism not ability.

Imagine if we had a David Dein in charge. Still no naming rights. A poor squad and a poor manager.

The buck stops with him.

Shame its our bucks which our fans will be paying for the next 30 years.

All the while Enic will be counting their cash from being landlords.

Sad.
