This club is going nowhere under ENIC. A DOF wont change much. The root cause of the problem at this club is ownership does not give a shit about the football. All about the infrastructure without realizing you also need to invest in a good product on the field. Then on top of that it is very clear they have contempt for the very supporters that are the backbone of the club. The season ticket holders, the match goers. ENIC simply does not give a shit about them. They have made that abundantly clear.

whats really fun is when we were leading the PL this thread was the quietist

No fan stops buying merchandise, game tickets, etc - why? Cause they support the club, not the owners. We, as fans and supporters are emotionally invested in Tottenham Hotspur, not ENIC. Sure there are fair-weather fans who'll walk away once the performance drops off and we become mid-table mediocrity, but for the most part, we'll stand by the club, the name, and what it represents to us as a collective and individuals. At the end of the day, we'll still buy these things that we love and most of us still love this club.

Unfortunately and inevitably that is what will continue to enable ENIC to do what they have been doing for the past 2 decades.

Who died and made you a saint since when did morality mean anything in the business world, get a grip of yourself and wake up to money equates success.
Your living in an idealistic world where ethics and sustainability are going to win out like a Knight in a armour it isn't happening.
There is Money and there is dirty Money.
Barcelona Bayern Real Borussia Leipzig Leicester can be successful without Blood financial doping.
For me Man City and Chelsea success means nothing - like any trophy won by cheating.

Yes Daniel, can we put these building in our honours lists.

sainburys superstore champions 2019
Biggest club shop in Europe champions 2019
Longest bar champions 2019
sky walk champions 2019
1000 house 2021

we won it all....and
Feel the glory..can the club produce some banners/flags , we can wave before the game.

Ah......the old "I don't agree with you so I'm going to call you Daniel" attack! There really ought to be a Spurs equivalent of Godwin's Law for that.

Anyway, fella, I don't think there's any point our discussing this further. I could try to tell you how the stadium (along with its biggest shop and longest bar) will transform our finances such that we will finally be able to compete with the richest clubs off the pitch; and how that, in turn, should help us to compete with the richest clubs on the pitch. But I suspect that I would be wasting my time because I don't think you have any interest in hearing it. Fair enough.

There is no point, I’m gone from being a minority voice against Enic to the being in the majority.

I can't fault levy for what he has done on the business side of things with the stadium, training ground etc. But on the football side of things he's got more things wrong than right and he needs to take a step back and place his trust in someone who consistently knows what they are doing.

I think he also needs to accept that most of the deadwood in the squad ain't worth much, you can't ask harrods prices for asda own brand level players.

I might get some negative reps for this but we need to constantly evolve the squad in every transfer window. The 2 windows where we never signed anyone totally fucked us, I'm not talking about wholesale changes every year but we need to be rotating 2 or 3 players every season, get rid of the shit and get players in who will improve on the players who we have to get shot of.

I love the way dortmund get young players in and give them a chance and integrate them into the team so you have a great mix of age/experience with youth. Unfortunately though any decent young youth players seem to be extortionatally priced when another English club express an interest.

If we were in the top 4 with the Carabao in the bag there wouldn't be a protest coming up

just goes to show when opposition fans call us fickle they ain't wrong.

there are so many fans on here that if we got new owners and we did do a Leeds would fuck off and support another team.

yes, we could have done with better spending, but the only window we had enough to go and do something the manager didn't want what was on offer.

apparently, ENIC only want to line their own pockets, yep spent a fortune the season of 2 from 8, they spent all the Bale money and have a near on 200m net the last 2 years. spending money doesn't guarantee success, you have to match Chelsea's, City's, or United's and then hope to get the breaks/luck.

the SC specialist view:
we should be spending money! we should be buying better backups to Kane!, Llorente does nothing!

without Llorente, we might have never seen us in a CL Final. Over the years we have heard players don't want to join to be back up, the biggest reason is in the old stadium we couldn't buy quality backups wasn't just because of Kane, or Eriksen, it was because we couldn't pay the silly wages the 5 established in the financial tables above us could pay bench warmers.

£60 for those lucky enough to get tickets for the Villa game.

Burnely's home game with fans is against Liverpool. 3,500 ST holders get a chance of a ticket via ballot, the cost? Free.

Levy is a bit of a twat.

Absolutely untrue! There has been plenty of dissatisfaction in ENIC long before our form deserted us. That was only added to by the entirely arrogant and naive way we blundered into the super league debacle. I can forgive the American owners cluelessness around fan perception for their decisions, but Daniel has not got that excuse. The fact he states he was shocked by the impact and the venom displayed by fans across the pyramid just shows he is either a lying **** or really does not pay attention to the fans (or most likely both).

Funny that, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool fans don’t seem so forgiving of their owners. The first two in particular seem pretty pissed off :D

Are you alright mate?
Who died and made you a saint since when did morality mean anything in the business world, get a grip of yourself and wake up to money equates success.
Your living in an idealistic world where ethics and sustainability are going to win out like a Knight in shining armour it isn't happening.
And then the next second you’re berating him for charging market rate for some tickets.

Are you alright mate?
