I’ve been saying for ages. We are heading the same way as them on the pitch too. When Kane goes, and they will sell him this summer, we will be truly fucked. Back on the road to being an average team.
we are worse. they won much more trophies than us

If these figures are to be believed then money has been spent on players problem is getting the right ones, Everton bigger net spend and still struggling to succeed , Brighton bigger net spend and nearer bottom than top. Liverpool & Leicester lower net spend have just spent more wisely than us.

It’s just such a Spursy saga. Defeat from jaws of victory. Levy wanting champagne on a beer budget. Conte could have bought a lot of good will. I think fans are going to be on his back until he’s gone now

I don’t see a way back for Levy from this, he’s handled the last 4 years atrociously. Like you say “champagne on a beer budget”, he’s pretending to be one of the big boys and it’s becoming clearer every day

I find it amusing, season ticket deadline closes and there’s a problem with the deal with Conte.
I expect Scott Parker to turn up in August as manager, saving a few weeks wages.
The only way to effect Teflon is demonstrate at a NFL game.

Now look.............I absolutely hate them and even more the hangers on who praise them but you have to admit they are very effective at making money for themselves.

Actual figures show differently , Spurs have spent just gone for the wrong players.

Hi, I try to avoid this thread because I really struggle to get my head around the opinion of "ENIC OUT"
What I see with ENIC, is a slow and steady upward trajectory.
What I see in Levy, is a guy who does what is best for the club for both the here and now but with one eye on the future as well.

Spurs have never been a dominant force, spurs have had good teams now and then and won a few things now and then.
I don't understand where the entitlement comes from.

I'm a Spurs fan, the same as everyone here, so I'd love it if we were winning things, so would Levy.

I can only assume that everyone here that accuses Levy/ENIC of a lack of ambition have amazing lives, driving Ferraris, living in mansions, holidaying in Honolulu, and currently working on their rival rockets to compete with SpaceX?

Leicester City have achieved more in the past 5 years than we have in the entirety of ENIC's tenure (infrastructure aside) despite being a smaller and less well off club by almost every metric, and while working their way up from a lower point. As it stands, you'd say they're in a better position to do better than us next season, and maybe in the years beyond that, too.

It's not entitlement, it's the sense that the club - or the owners of the club to be precise - aren't doing everything in their power to make the club a success; don't have an understanding of how to steer the ship; but are happy to fleece the fans in every way, shape or form in the process.

Now Levy has installed his fall guy to act as a buffer between him and the fans.

Make no mistake, every wrong decision and misstep from now on will be blamed on Paratici. We are even being briefed that Paratici is the one choosing the manager (by Ally Gold so we know that is a club brief).

Levy must think we are morons. It will be Levy choosing the manager, as if he would reliniqush that control.... but he has already positioned it so that if and when the next manager fails, it will be the Italian who takes the fall, and Teflon will live on.

Shame for those who can't see this charade.

Due to coronavirus Levy has slashed next season's company car budget..

The Leicester city case is extraordinary. Full credit to them. I can't imagine that in the build up to the season they won the league, that the owners were thinking about doing so.
But they did.
Since then they have had success by the same method we used not so long ago by buying young hungry players with potential. We did that, it got us so far.
But Leicester are extraordinary because they won the league miraculously.
If you want another case study, look at Birmingham City. See how they have faired under wealthy foreign ownership.

Leicester winning the premier league was a complete fluke, so I don’t think that’s a fair stick to beat Levy & Lewis with.

I suppose the FA Cup win was also a complete fluke and one we shouldn’t beat Levy and Lewis with since we haven’t even got to the final of that competition under their stewardship?

Director of football, we all know again how this will pan out. He will be used as part of the committee that will always involve Levy's final say...after a number of promising young prospect signings, alternative signings away from our main obvious targets, Levy will get rid and repeat a familiar cycle of lip service and nearly deals.

Our next manager will be of Parker Potter Farke low maintenance willing to do as told on a stringent inflexible budget lower than the level we're expected to compete at CL level.
