What is that plan you see?

Hiring a DoF, a coach he has worked with before, Levy stepping back from the football negotiations, trying to back the manager. It certainly seems to me that is what is happening, from the very little I actually know that is going?

What makes you think there is no plan?

I could see the plan before the end of Poch's reign too. The Plan was always to get our facilities done so that we could push on and become a club capable of competing with the teams in the next tier up from ours.

I personally saw an upward trajectory from the time ENIC came here until Poch's last season. Since then we have stalled and gone backwards somewhat, but that happens with every team or else everyone would win the league every year.

Whether Spurs had good intentions in going for Traore and Luis Diaz or not........ It has been the worse bit of PR the club could have created. The fan base that follow the clubs transfer dealings are lost for words at the shambles. We have been made to look a laughing stock in the football world,...and Mr Levy that really hurts as Spurs fans. Be assured if Conte walks you will be looking at loads of empty seats next season, including mine at £ 4500 its a Joke

if this is the plan so far then we need to change the plan immediately because so far it's not working very well

Do you get Chauffeur driven door to door, for that?

Don't usually get any ITK but got a hold of photo from Levy's office on our strategic transfer plans, sorry his hand writing is a little shit but very insightful if you can make it out...

TBH Conte has been here how long? Paratici how long?

You're saying that because we missed out on a couple of targets reported about in the media.

How on earth do you know what is working or not?

I think we would be less of a laughing stock if fans didn't have the meltdowns they did. It is nearly like people are winding us up for the same thing that happens to all clubs but they know spurs fans are easy targets

im happy they are both here. Personally I'm not that fussed re Diaz or traore not coming more that it shows that we haven't changed even under these two still being here. That's my frustration, the same issues that we have seen play out under enic tenure.

I hope to be pleasantly surprised but recent history doesn't fill me with great hope

If the poor squad building actions continue then Conte may well be about half way through his reign at Spurs.

I have calmed down a little bit from this morning. Ultimately if Barcelona and Liverpool offer the same package sadly we can’t compete. But what still angers me is the faffing about. Had we been decisive with these deals we could have got both done before other clubs woke up.

I'm sorry, how has it shown that we haven't changed?

Every club misses out on targets. Unless you have been hiding under a rock the last 3 years, we have purchased a number of the targets we have sought after. So what exactly hasn't changed?

Of course, but as EVERYONE keeps pointing out, the poor squad building is not really down to how much we spend, but bringing in the right players for our manager and to suit our long term strategy whatever that may be.

Conte has been here 5mins, his first window is a Jan one which is notoriously hard to do business in and everyone is acting like we have failed already because apparently, this is exactly like every situation that has happened with ENIC before. I'm sorry but that just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm more upset at Levy/Paratici panicking and buying Juve's dead wood than I am at missing out on Traore and Diaz. One mistake shouldn't compound into multiple ones. ENIC is a god dammed clown show and I'm tired of it.

We've been tracking Kulusevski since the summer. Not sure if it's a panic as much as it is not being able to get target #1 so we've moved further down the list. Personally I'm not convinced by him so I'm not even massively for the signing but there's evidence that we've been after this guy for a while at least.

It’s just a hunch but if we’re forever picking up our 3/4/5 choice players then there’s a good chance they’ll end up being absolute shite!

Our transfer deals over the last 7 years or so have been mostly pathetic with poor signing after poor signing. Had it not been for Harry Kane where would this club be?

Im just so glad the stadium & transfer budgets were completely separate and didn’t impact on either parts of the ‘project’

It’s not even recent history. It’s the entire history of ENIC. Solid real estate investors. But running a football which has had countless opportunities to join the elite have always been met with monumental fck ups.

Just because some decide to continually defend ENIC, which of course is fine, I’m just continually pissed off with them and want them gone.
