If Walker goes, Dier is going nowhere.

No chance we will sell more than one first team we this window.

Poch loves Eric's tactical flexibility and has stated his importance so many times. I think he sees him as critical to how the team functions.

Not just Poch but all the leading managers have commented on this unique quality - Conte, Klopp, Mourinho etc.

Yeah they can't wait to talk up our players. I find it quite annoying rather than endearing. I can't remember any of our manager's waxing lyrical about opposition players.

When playing in the midfield, they both play the more defensive midfielder unless they play together.
Dier drops back to make the 3Rd centre back, Wanyama is an animal runs around stopping players in there way.

Very different and imo Dier couldn't play defensive mid in a back 3

They may do it differently but it is still the same job. Neither is the more creative of the 2 CMs, thus why they struggle playing together.

If Walker leaves we're not selling anymore first teamers. Everyone needs to calm down. Players can't just leave if the club refuses to let them go.

would be insanity to let him go
covers two roles, no one else in the squad can play in a back 3 and as a DM equally as well

Maybe he just wanted pizza.

Or maybe he looks happy because he's in a (nearly) red shirt

Long summer ahead. Personally, Walker has been with us a while, fair dos to a certain extent. Poch and Spurs have made Dier though, I'd be very disappointed if he wanted out so soon into our project, it doesn't seem to tally with his character.

He looked disappointed.

Does that equal a bad attitude?

He walked off and didn't say anything afaict...

I don't know, I didn't see it but have read a few times on here that he looked pissed off / had an attitude problem.

Was just asking the question from those that did see it?
