Dier's passing makes Rooney's drop into midfield a waste of his talent.
Let Dier control the midfield with Alli and push Rooney into one of the two supporting forward roles.
Alli in particular is subdued because everything is resolving around Rooney when we should be played the one/two touch football he's thrived on at Tottenham.
They said on tv that he was 'a little dizzy'.Not sure if anyone has already answered you, but it looked to me as though he gestured as if to say he was struggling for breath? I tried rewinding to see if he took a knock in the side or something, but had no success. The way he was curled up & 'rocking' on his back, it was pretty much exactly what someone does if they get winded. He seemed to go pale, too, but was back to being himself after a few minutes, so hopefully was nothing serious.

Yes, during the game, soon after he carried on playing.Do you mean during the game? I didn't watch the post match interviews, so don't know what he said in his interview.
What a performance.

Due to his skills reaching lofty heights... Can't blame the lad, only young. They said on tv that he was 'a little dizzy'.
What a performance.
What a performance.
When I hear Jack "Wilshere is holding"... I just assume he's been caught outside a club with a gun. (or other substances)Just been reminded of this 'opinion' from Woy, just 6 short weeks ago. Wonder if he feels the same now?
Tottenham's Eric Dier is still in the 'shadow' of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, says Roy Hodgson
"He did it against France, that's for sure, and does it for Tottenham," Hodgson insisted, when asked about Dier's ability to shield the back four.
"I've been very impressed so have called him up with [Danny] Drinkwater, who does a similar job for Leicester City.
"They're still in the shadow of Jack Wilshere, who did so well for us before his injury.
