I'd spend Pay-Per-View money for a Dier vs. Fabregas no holds bar bout. I'd imagine it end up a lot like this one did:

Fabregas is about as agile as Stephen Hawking, so it would probably just be the last five seconds or so. But I'd pay to see that, for sure.

You've go to say, whilst Alli was an incredible purchase he was at least fairly well known due to a great season with MK and playing in England, Dier was an absolute steal.

Whoever scouted and recommended him will be living off that for years. Not just English, not just young, not just a genuinely good footballer, but a player who can fill the DM/Pirlo slot? England just don't produce those players, not since Carrick, who is both an exception and has been criminally underused by England.

Absolutely stunning really that we got this guy effectively from out of nowhere, for an absolute pittance, and he's developed into a first choice international, a future captain, and a guy who has a genuine connection to the club and fans already.

He's the dream signing and makes the likes of United spending £90m on Pogba look like an absolute joke of a football club.

Even funnier that Everton had him on loan and decided they didn't want him. Shows what a good coach Poch is to bring the best out of these players.

Couldn't agree more. Although a lot of fans who post here think taking a chance on signings like Dier is only done because Levy is stingy...

Love him dearly. But that haircut is awful. Looks like he belongs on the set of TOWIE

Disagree. I think the haircut has transformed him from looking like Mum's favourite son to a dont mess with me lad

My favourite player too, but it worries me that MP has effectively replaced him with Wanyama.
Sure he'll get loads of games, being first choice backup to Wan, Dembele, Alderweireld and Walker,
but after such a cracking season and international recognition in the same holding role, I wonder what exactly he's done wrong.

Vw is backup to dier not the other way around. I think the reason Vw has been kept on in games this season is because he can do more box to box than dier and we have been chasing games trying to score.

Not so sure about that poch seems to really like wanyama. Can see dier playing vs Stoke and wanyama playing vs Monaco
