Hadn't even realised he was injured until I saw this thread this morning.

What an absolute fucking joke. So sick of these International friendlies. The one player we need to really step up given his attributes and quality and this happens.

Time to give Lamela a run in the number ten position. I'm not convinced Holtby is a true number ten.

maybe he will be forced to change formation and bring Ade back in? It could be a blessing in disguiseo_O

Ade is available for meet and greets with the fans, which if he was still being shunned out of the first team would not happen, I'm sure. Here's praying.

"After an MRI scan it's been determined that @ChrisEriksen8 suffered a sprain of the lateral ankle ligaments playing for Denmark on Friday"
"Christian's scan showed no sign of ruptured ligaments which will result in a shorter period of recovery for the attacking midfielder #THFC"

Anyone know how long could be out with that info? how long takes to recover in general from it

i feel that eriksen needs to be managed by someone who will allow him to express himself creatively in an expansive team, pretty much the complete opposite to avb where everything is rigid with rehearsed movements.

I just have to ask. Are you in any way familiar with the way AVB wants his teams to play? Have you read interviews where he describes his football philosophy?

Good news for Spurs. Christian Eriksen injury ankle is just a sprain. No ruptured ligaments. Am told he'll be out for around 4 weeks.

Well I know from my own recent ankle ligament sprain i was unable to exercise for a couple of weeks. After that and a week of light stretches i was able to start running again albeit short distances - that was just me with a bag of frozen peas looking after myself - im guessing 3-4 weeks till he is light/medium training again.

it does depend on how badly it has been strained though.....

City, United, Fulham and Sunderland, with a chance of coming back for Liverpool. Shame, but better than expected.

Wasnt Capoue's injury a sprained ankle?
He was out for the best part of two months.
