I'd like Payet at Spurs, but can't imagine anyone else does, because he's 29 so he's too old, right guys? We prefer the 4th choice Belgian forward for three times the price

Three times the price?
Payet will be astronomical right now price wise... Or did you mean how much Payet cost when he joined WH?

@Grapo2001 care to explain the rating?

Now that's what a panel should bring - insight + entertainment.

Mattheus/Bilic/Karembeu next, please.

I'm pretty sure the Payet boat has sailed for most, even the bigger fish. I was banging on about him when he was at Lille, I couldn't believe none of the bigger teams in richer leagues were interested in him then, but even the RM's of this world rarely buy 29/30yo's.

It's too late for him at Spurs, we wouldn't pay the money he would cost 12 months ago for a 28yo, let alone what he'd cost now, or want in salary (and understandably - we work more logical business model - West Ham were more desperate and playing catch up, the risk made more sense), the lesson is... give Pritchard a chance because, whilst he's nowhere near that level now, he's a very similar type of player, similar skill set and similar pitch impudence. What he needs is what Payet has had, a chance to develop that character and talent. he might not turn out to be "Payet", but then 6 years ago Payet wasn't "Payet", he was Pritchard trying to be Payet. And we don't have a time machine.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Pogba & Kante have an agreement to help each other score? After watching the 2nd half I was sitting there amazed at how many times those 2 prefered to pass to the other rather than a team mate in a better position; even holding up the ball until the other made a very late, and uneffective, run into the box. I say uneffective as by then Albania had overloaded the box with players and shooting was always going to be a deflection or block.
