Bearing in mind that the Carabao cup may be sacrificed soon for extra fixtures in the Champions League this is a trophy we should go all out to win.

There will be a few half decent teams in it and a good chance that Jose's Roma will be in it as well.

Could also get a bit of much needed good will by making the home game tickets as cheap as possible.

Experiment in the early rounds but if we can't at least get to the final of this we are cursed

Two big reasons. One, give more low to mid-tier leagues the chance to play in Europe. Two, streamline the Europa League with fewer fixtures and fewer crap teams to make it more attractive.

We've got to take this somewhat seriously. It's a real chance at a trophy without having to beat a City, Liverpool, United or Chelsea. And moreover, it's the level we've proved ourselves worthy of. We are, currently, a slightly inferior club to West Ham. The table doesn't lie. They would be happy to be in this. We've got to respect it as well.

I'm also against us going full strength in this tournament due to the insane amount of games players will have before the start of next season.

May 23rd- Season ends
May 24th - Players begin reporting to national teams
May 26th - EL Final
May 29th - CL Final
May 30th - Remaining players report to national teams
June 11th - July 11th - EUROS 2021
July 2nd or 5th - August 14th - PRE-SEASON
July 21st- August 7th - TOKYO OLYMPICS
August 14th - May 22nd 2022 - 2021/2022 EPL Season

Chances are we'll likely see the EPL start in late July 2022 as the World Cup 2022 is set to run from November 21st to December 18th 2022 - unless they plan on running the later part of the 2022 season into late July 2023/early August 2023 - which is another headache.

In summary, play the youth in the ECL. Firstly to give them experience and secondly to spare our 1st team players from any additional travelling and fatigue that will eventually lead to injuries.

Desperate to win a pot but we keep turning our noses up at winning one. If Chelsea were in this they'd win it - we should have the same mentality.

I went for option 2 - be sensible in the early stages and then take it seriously when we need to.

Ye, we're in it so lets be the first ones with the name on the trophy. But we have to give some youngsters a good run out in it as well.

we need this competition to boost our uefa coefficient.

starting from 2024, two teams with highest uefa coefficient but doesn’t yet qualify for champions league group stage, will be given a group stage place of champions league

tottenham or other “big 6” premier league team is likely one of the two teams benefit from this new arrangement, as most teams with better uefa coefficient would have qualify for champions league already through original slots.

uefa coefficient count last 5 years European cup performances, so even this conference league is better than just getting 0 points for 21/22.

also the ticket revenue and broadcast money will help.

Let’s go all out to win it.

A trophy is a trophy, and getting across the line once will do wonders for our mentality.

If we do go down the route of shipping out the shite and rebuilding around young, hungry players, there are worse ways to bed them in than becoming the inaugural ECL winners.

Do we know whether the points are similar to europa league coefficient points?

As it stands, Sassuolo would take Italy's spot ahead of Roma. They're 1-0 up against Lazio, while Roma are 2-0 down to Calcio Spezia.
