Could someone cast their minds back a few years (or less) to the last time we played well in Europe for something close to a full game?
Im guessing there was one in the 2019 run to the final (and im not having the Ajax match as we only started playing after half-time) but for the life of me, i cant remember that last time we played well in a mid-week European game?
I keep trying to talk myself into going to a big away match but after experiences such as Tuesday night im reminded that the football tends to suck!

See if that jogs any memories. Had a quick look through but can't recall any of them being particularly excellent performances.

Maybe the 2-1 win away at Dortmund when we played them in the group stages in 2017-18. We were 1-0 down at half-time, but that was largely thanks to their goalkeeper making at least 2 excellent saves. Then we deservedly went on to win it in the 2nd half.

That performance from Dembele remains for me as one of the best performances I've seen. He dominated their midfield by himself.

We were 2-0 down very early and I was getting sarcastic messages, but I replied this team won't lose.
