Have we declined to participate in Perez’s & Laporta’s desperate ass saving horseshit yet? Or are we going to help save those clubs from going under?

I don’t think there’s anything to decline is there? We’ve already said we’re not joining

Didn’t take Barca long…

Well yeah. They were behind the original idea. It might save Laporta’s bacon. All his short termism ownership of rights sales to make galactico signings to appease their supporters will end up being the death of that club in 5-10 years. Never seen anything so brain dead. Just practice austerity & not spends hundreds of millions. Mortgaged the already financially stricken club to appease twitter fans.

I would imagine we will release a statement but it will be a little tactical. Too early and those behind the super league might rule out our future involvement (support). Too late and our fans will be up in arms

As current European Champions, have West Ham announced their rejection to joining the league?

Isn't the most important thing to come out of this ruling the calling out of the monopoly, out of control, unfettered dictatorship of UEFA and FIFA ?

Seeing how the golf with LIV panned out and the DP and US Tours finally capitulating and Rahm going to the dark side for me it’s just a matter of time before something radical happens unfortunately.
You can see what’ll happen though, it’ll get expanded so much to incorporate Arab and US clubs, along with any other clubs that have mega rich owners, which will then lead to the oil money flooding into it to prop it up.
It’s a back door to a world league whereby the global rich can all have their slice of pie and make even more money.

So how are the 16 teams in the Star League decided, in European competition we rank 30th so plenty of teams above us deserve to be in the 16. :)

If Real Madrid and Barca want money... why don't they just contact Saudi Arabia or Qatar ?? ... instead if this Super League crap. 🤷‍♂️ surely it can't be about trophies and fame.

Id wait until the Arab-owned clubs show their hand before declaring this DOA....lets see if money talks in football as it does in golf.

Ah , so that makes the organizers already corrupt, might as well stay with UEFA.
Well, I expect - ultimately the "Super League" will be delivering more revenue, and a higher percentage of that revenue will go to teams themselves - instead of the organization.

So, its unlikely they will be as corrupt as the existing football structure.
