How many points do you think they should have after playing Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, us and Stoke? They're on four which is one more than I was expecting.

For all the money they spent they didn't really replace Lukaku which is crazy. Maybe they thought that with Rooney, Sandro, Siggy and their young players they'd have enough, but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

You are right in that they have not had a favourable set of fixtures but they have conceded 12 goals and scored none in their last four games. Foreign owners that have spent a lot of money won't stand for that no matter who it's against.

It is not about the result. It's about how woefully bad they defend & how they aren't fighting to the expected level. And add to this they have scored just 2 goals including EL

Whilst there results have been poor, surely anyone - Koeman and the board included, should know that if you buy in a load of new players, it's going to take time for things to gel.

It's ridiculous that up to the start of the season, they were backing him 100% with all the money needed to add quality to the team. Not giving him time to make it work seems foolish (and in the longer term a complete waste of cash and time) but i guess that's where we are in the PL thesedays.

Unless something isn't clicking between the manager and players or there's a bigger disagreement here somewhere i just can't understand it.

Plus their fixtures were quite hard. Up next they've got 4 smaller teams in the league they could quite easily beat. Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton and Arsenal. At least give Koeman the chance against those teams.

Makes perfect sense IMO - he's had a chance to see what's working and what isn't, time to see how they can set up against teams with slightly less quality.

It's obvious that it's not quite right at the moment, but they need a few games against teams outside the top six to really start putting their own game together. I think Koeman's right that their target should be 7th again this season and they're only four points off that at the moment.

Is Lookman fit for them at the moment? Not been in their squad for the past couple of games so i'm guessing the answer is either no or that he's not quite ready yet - seems like a good impact option from the bench to me though. Given how toothless they've been i wouldn't see the harm in getting him in there.

So any normal person gets alot of jail time and fines for drunk driving. Rooney gets...a driving ban? Fucking hell, thats not a punishment.

I'm not very knowledgable on UK law (or US for that matter), but in Norway a drink driving sentence with community service and a long driving ban is fairly common as long as nobody gets hurt and no (or little) property gets damaged. How far the driver was over the limit is also taken into account.

I've had a few friends done for drink driving. None have gone to prison for this though.

He was fined. £170 :grumpy:

Apparently Everton are fining him two weeks wages which is about £300,000 and this could cost him his marriage after being caught with another woman so it could be a very expensive night in the end.

If she was going to leave shed of gone by now

Its like Terry's wife sticking by him after all his indiscretions. Im sure they'll say they're doing it for their children when they are really doing it because they'd be nothing without their scumbag husbands

Clearly we live in far more civilised nations than @yankspurs where prison isn't always the answer to everything. ;)
Not everyone goes to prison it does carry a prison sentence. DUI/DWI is a very, very, very serious crime that can and has in many cases, resulted in someones death.

I agree that it's a potentially very serious offence, but a driving ban and community service makes far more sense to me when you haven't actually harmed anyone and it's a first offence.

He asked for a bigger fine and no community service but the judge wouldn't take it and has made him do the community service.
