Is that Everton lineup the slowest starting XI ever assembled in the Premier League?

Looks like Sissoko partnering Dier in midfield, but if so how on earth is he there ahead of Dembele and Winks?
I'm guessing Dembele is being protected for the match against Dortmund - he played in mid-week so probably can't play 3 games in a week. I'm guessing Winks might not be ready to start games yet.

Sissoko playing in midfield is interesting given that Everton are very one paced.

Dier will have to position himself well when Sissoko drives forward, Sissoko can't play as a holding player.

Some suggestions that Winks still isn't 100% fit, but I'd rather a half crocked Winks than Sissoko in midfield. That is a disgusting team selection.

Not only Sissoko, which is bad enough on its own, but Dier in midfield when we're playing 3 at the back is entirely redundant. It's just not necessary.

I hope our away fans ridicule Rooney to no end. Drunk driving while taking a random girl back to her place while your wifes pregnant. Deserves all the ridicule in the world.

I can only offer one suggestion and this is, somebody has surgically removed both of Dembele's legs, but even then he'd still be more use than Sissoko - so i'll be fucked if i know.

Lol 'disgusting'. Did you complain when Wanyama started every time we played a back 3?

Think it'll be Dier on his own in central midfield with Dele, Eriksen and Sissoko ahead of him.

Maybe? Fuck it as long as we win I couldn't give a toss.

Dembele can't play multiple times a week. He started for Belgium in their second match and Poch must be resting him for Dortmund.

Sissoko playing in CM really does highlight our lack of squad depth at that position though. Winks hasn't really looked himself yet since returning from injury IMO, and Sissoko must be out-performing him in training to be selected.

I said in the transfer deadline thread that we needed to recall Onomah once it was obvious neither Gomes nor Barkley were happening and was immediately inundated with derisory ratings, well look at the state of our options!

He may not have scored that night but will today. Always does against us
