This thread just reeks of defeatism. From the fans, to the playing side, to the upper management, it really feels like a majority have a loser’s mentality. Think that’s what Conte is getting at when he talks so much about it. It’s really changing the club ethos of “Murphy’s Law” that is truly insidious into one that is of belief and deserving of success. Good luck.
Not sure how sizeable it is. What I do know is those you are talking about seem to be shouting the same things over and over again and making it look like there are more than there actually are. I suppose the keep talksport in business though.
Back the team during the halves. Not a fan of the moan or sighs at every misplaced pass or mistake. But the paying fan has every right to voice their discontent at half time and full time in my opinion.

It's a good point. This is the first club Conte has managed since Bari that doesn't have have huge, or even moderate, success in its recent history. While he still had to rebuild/improve clubs like Juve, Inter and Chelsea to an extent, they all still had a certain expectation and pedigree after winning doubles, trebles, league titles etc not very long before. This thread just reeks of defeatism. The thing with the moan is it’s just instinctive. If I’m at a game and I see winks or Sanchez or Hoijberg or Lucas lose the ball yet again under no pressure, there’s no way I can keep my disappointment from showing.
Well said. Are these people really supporters ? I see very little evidence of actually supporting the club through thick and thin.
Once again where is the support for the team ? Booing or sighing is NOT supporting the team. The team needs support from the supporters now more than ever.
Not sure why really given many clubs don't win anything. I guess we always act like we should be winning things so are an easy target. I think this is also in part what this interview was about. Conte is expected to demand instant success because that's what he's had with his last 3 clubs. Maybe he's just saying that this job is different and to stop expecting him to get upset at not winning. I hope it really just means he's here for the long run and wants to build success here.Until we win some silverware, we'll continue to mocked by all and sundry and this is irrespective of manager
I think it’s part self-preservation to excuse himself from the poor results and part actual pressure on the board because our window was fairly mediocre and hasn’t materially improved our chances of top four which he is desperate for.
If he does this every time we lose a game then it’s going to become a problem but I’d still rather him than a yes man.

We all know Conte is right.
The club talks about winning trophies but doesn‘t back it up.
Of course, you have the right to do it, no one is going to stop you.Back the team during the halves. Not a fan of the moan or sighs at every misplaced pass or mistake. But the paying fan has every right to voice their discontent at half time and full time in my opinion.
There's some weird stuff going with Mendes, even trying to use him for Diaz deal who he doesn't even represent. Hiring Mourinho and Nuno, and almost getting Gattuso. Whatever the plan is, it involves him. We are trying to follow Wolves and Arsenal (they like Kia Joorbachian instead) looks like.I think the club needs to clearly define where they want to go in the future.
If they want to follow the Dortmund/Leicester/Leipzig model of buying young players with loads of potential, then fine. But why contradict that and appoint a world-class manager who wants to win now?
Commit to a philosophy and not flip flop between the two.
I guess we'll see in the summer where our priorities lie.
But do they? Nuno didn't seem to have any objectives. Nor does Conte....
