Amazing how many reports we have over the years of our manager going to quit. Yet I can only think of burkinshaw quitting spurs in the last 40 years.

Stories like this whether true or not destabilise what the team are doing.
I hope that the club manage to convince him to stay another year or two along with Kane.

It is all bollox
I think it's fair to say only Conte himself could actually say for definite whether or not he's been speaking to another club. The question is if he was planning an exit strategy, why would he be working so hard behind the scenes towards next season?

Why does anyone think Conte will leave?
He's only on an 18 month contract so is hardly going to kick off about seeing out one more season.

And, considering the progress we have made already, I don't see why we can't be in with a shout of silverware next season (although probably not the league or CL if we're in it).

Sounds like pure nonsense. All PSG care about is winning the Champions League and Conte has a pretty dodgy record in Europe - his genius has always been in the domestic comps.

On top of that, PSG seem like a horrible fit for Conte. Riddled with huge egos and overpaid players, you get no credit whatsoever for winning anything domestically, and are deemed a failure unless you guide them to the CL, which even Pep hasn't won in about 8 years.

Blatant bullshit

An Italian journo has said he has close sources to Conte

plus he could have just waited 1/2 a season if he wanted that project! everyone knew poch was done in the summer regardless I think ......he has never looked happy or comfortable at psg.....

as a foot note interesting if manu do go ten hag after flirting with poch for a decade .....has his stock taken another blow this season?

Yes, of course it has. He's basically just hitting par in Ligue 1(maybe not even that) and bombed out of the CL quite spectacularly.

Of course it has.
I know they have an immense squad but that dressing room looks damn near impossible to manage if... maybe ZZ could it must be damn near impossible to have those 3 in the team not doing any tracking back...surly that isn't by design?

So a good fit for United then if he's struggling to get big ego players playing together? It's his decision to play them all every week.

I think Conte will genuinely want to stay. And I think Conte and Kane's futures are closely linked. Conte has put a hell of a lot of work into our squad and, after hours and hours on the training ground, he now has a top 4 team on his hands playing in his image. With a few additions we can challenge for serious titles next season.

When he was talking about walking we'd just been seriously outclassed multiple times by Chelsea. But our back 3 included Sanchez and Tanganga, with Emerson at RB and Moura and Winks starting. The difference Romero, Dier, Doherty, Bentancur, and Kulusevski make to the team that lost to Chelsea is immense

Would be very surprised if he wanted to ditch us for PSG. Conte would get very bored managing PSG on a week by week basis.

I'll add my echo to this chamber. Why the fuck would Conte want to go to PSG when they have a dressing room full of players that won't work for any coach in a league where there is little to no challenge. As others have noted, Conte has an ego and that ego would love to win things in England with an underdog, not canter to a title in France.

I get the feeling that he thinks he's getting his message across here and is really enjoying it. Thinks he's got the right reaction from squad and hierachy. Just my onions but seems like that.
