If there’s not changes on Saturday then I’m very confused, we signed the players but there’s clearly some problems there.
We’ve deserved to lose a few games this season and we finally have, needs to change something and fast because it’s worrying. I’d start with having a RWB on the pitch who can do something.

The worst thing about watching spurs in the last 3 years is that it has become like a chore or an obligation. There is no enjoyment and it just feels like another 2 hours at work. I just want a goal to come from somewhere, finish the game and go to sleep.

So many overreactions... in saying that, this loss is on Conte. One sub after so many terrible displays is unexplainable

Interesting perspective but I think there are two important truths that you haven’t addressed:

1. Conte is in his fifties and has been managing at the top level for over a decade with great success. He’s not going to change his ways in the slightest unless there’s a good reason for him to do so. If he changes in the way you describe, he’s not the same manager anymore, and that could take away from what makes him an elite manager rather than add to it.

2. We are embarking upon one of our best ever starts to a season, and are currently unbeaten. You’re writing as if there’s a major problem to solve, when there isn’t. We’re not winning games by three or four goals at the moment, but we did last season (under the very same intense, obsessive, controlling Conte you have described above). However, the difference between this season and the start of Conte’s time here is consistency of results. The floodgates may well open very soon, without any need to change our top class manager’s approach in a fundamental way.

In short, maybe he knows what he’s doing.
I hear you. And thank you for your thoughts and considerations.
I do think there’s a bit of a problem though.
Conte may have great pedigree as a manager and coach, but other teams are employing equally as capable coaches these days. It’s a much more even contest.
And you’re only as good as your last game, as they say.

To imply that Conte mustn’t change his ways seems contradictory to what he’s asking of his players.
Everyone has to grow and evolve. Including Conte.

Personally, I think he’s an amazing character and teacher.
But I don’t think he‘s got the balance right at the moment. And I hope he, himself, is open to change…otherwise he’ll just end up blaming everyone else.

Conte has been backed to the hilt by this club. More so than anybody in history. He needs to start having questions asked about him.

The football is shit, his team selections make no sense and he either doesn’t use the subs bench or uses it too late to make any difference. We tried to change our fucking wing backs in the 90th minute. What’s he fucking playing at?

It doesn’t take a genius to see that our results weren’t sustainable when we have been playing as poorly as we have done this season. Changes are needed. Emerson and Son shouldn’t see the starting XI for the foreseeable future. Emerson never.

Goes on about needing a bigger squad & yet he picks the same guys who are letting us down.

Clear to see why he struggles in Europe. Only knows 1 team to play ??‍♀️

I like to think the more sensible among us are keeping quiet and not losing our shit.

For the system to flourish we need to have wingbacks doing the same, flourishing. In order for that to happen we need two things -

abilty and consistency

given our only other option is Doherty at the moment, do you think he has more ability than Emerson?

Laughable that he’s only bringing on Kulusevski after 70+ mins and then no one else.

I don’t care what anyone says about winning or whatever, I’ve paid £1k this season which I probably can’t afford plus travel for each home game and I just don’t look forward to watching us play. The football is diabolical at times. No desire to go out and play and take the game to the other team.

I go to Spurs to see us attack teams and for entertainment, I’m not getting that atm.

Feeling more and more apathetic about Spurs to be quite honest.
