Luis Enrique or Tuchel would be great appointments. Club would obviously go with Poch though very infuriating.
Because Poch is better manager and/or better fit than both of them.
Also, Luis Enrique is massively overrated currently - won only 2 game from 10 in Euro and WC in 90 min time - against Slovakia and Costa Rica.

Luis Enrique or Tuchel
Why would a top class established manager come to us?

if the conte experiment implodes because of levy, we’ll be left with managers on the wane with something to prove (Jose), up comers who are trying to make the step up (Howe - types) or chancers like Nuno

all equally unappealing given the clubs current position and finances

Tuchel would be an interesting one, from a coaching pov.

The obvious Chelsea albatross round his neck would make it a hard one to get off the ground. Coupled with the fact we don’t usually do so well with former Chelsea managers…

Issue is we don't seem to do well with any manager

I actually wouldn’t have any issue if poch was our next manager, if say for instance conte got offered a bigger job or got removed if we went on a terrible run.

i would however have an issue if this happened because levy wanted to play boardroom politics and fail to support conte in order to engineer a return of the prodigal son.

hopefully the board can realise that there is potential for us to be a very strong club if the investment in playing staff matches the stadium and training ground

Depends who replaced him. If it was one of the other members of the current board then what would be the point? If he is moved on a clean sweep is required imo.
I would gladly be the the one to kick Dirty Donna Cullen to the kerb.

Don't matter who's the manager as long as Levys here it'll always be the same story. This is why I gave up my season ticket after 26 years my hope died so this to me sounds like same shit. All summer we all said you're doing what we want now lets hope it continues and here we are Levy will never change

Return of Poch will be a disaster in the same toxic boardroom culture. Poch would be mad to take it unless he gets legal guarantees in his contract.

Can’t imagine Kane and some of the others sticking around if Conte isn’t backed.

If most of SC thinks this is stupid I can imagine what the players think.

Interesting ITK from Trix. Relieved that there clearly is **some** money to spend. While the risk of option 1 is always there, I'm still inclined to think Conte has Levy over a barrel. Can't see Levy surviving in post if Conte walks.
But he's got a get out of jail card in Poch and he knows it. Levy has navigated himself out of the corner he was backed into again and that's the harsh reality. He's only kicking the can down the road though, if Poch leaves for the same reasons then he's done for.

IF this is true then this comes down to what Conte’s spending demands are. If he wants £200m net spent every single window for example then he’s living in fantasy land.

However if Levy is saying we can’t even spend £70-£120m most windows then he’s to blame. With the revenues we now have and the fact our stadium repayments are so low, we should easily be able to spend pretty good amounts every window.

Look at Scum, they are spending huge amounts every window and our revenue is higher!
What I would say to that is what Gooners have done has been a huge gamble. Its unsustainable.

Theyve spent this sort of money so Top4 money plus pays off. The gamble has and looks like its paid off.

Thanks to the ITKs as always. While the information is annoying, until the club establishes an identity larger than the decisionmakers, we'll continue to bounce around. I've been a huge fan of DL's business acumen for a long time while being ambivalent about Conte's style of play tbh. But if AC walks because of DL, then DL has to go. We, and that includes DL, all knew who AC was when we signed him. If DL is going back on that decision, like the Nuno decision, like the Jose decision, then it's all the proof i need that he cannot lead an organization which is pursuing multiple goals. I.E. make money and provide an attractive product.

While we all wish there was far less organizational drama, as @allatsea and others posted, there is far more to life than worrying about something we have no control over. As we are now in the holiday season, i sincerely wish for each and everyone, multiple surprises equal to the signing of Rafael Vdv, the same peace that came when the Harry Kane-Man City drama came to a close and the most especially, the sheer joy we all felt when Lucas hit struck that third goal. That is what life is supposed to be about. Cheers and COYS

We are doing very well with this one. But we know how DL and co works. IF true then this will get very very nasty. And righty so.

Who do you think will be using it as an excuse?
Levy mostly I suppose, but the general point was too much energy is being diverted into division and power plays rather than focusing on finishing the season well. We will know soon enough, either way, as any early window signings should start to surface soon.

Oh boy- here we go again.
Foolishly I was thinking we'd turned the corner. All the crying in here over something we have no control over.
Sure I'm annoyed if we have to start again- but others have said massive changes behind the scenes are needed or we'll be doing this again in two years!
Oh to be a Spurs supporter!

Conte may extend his contract, or he may not. Levy may stay, he may go. Lewis' daughter might have good intentions, she might not. The board may go, they may not. Poch might return, Poch might not.

It's all up in the air and there is zero point actually worrying about it. Until then Conte is still manager, Levy is still here, Kane is still here and the January window hasn't even opened.

Yeah Conte experiment will definitely implode because of Levy. I guess he was in change of Juve, then Chelsea and then Inter when the same happened for Conte.
