I swear the fa cup draw is rigged. When was the last time Liverpool got a prem Team in the third round. Always seem to get a minnow at this stage, United too.
If the draw was rigged, Liverpool would have gotten Stourbridge

Good draw not because it's easy because it fucking isn't but because it'll be set up for a giant killing but we will hammer those ****s

We get to welcome Hutton back to the lane. :)

Decent draw for us. Good chance for the youngsters.

What do we all think tickets will be like for this match? For non members? Nornally this round isn't an issue for tickets but with redevelopment and part of ground missing, last one at the lane etc....I'm not hopeful :(

Just flicked to BBC football and headline is "Newport or Plymouth at Liverpool in FA cup plus full draw".
They really are obsessed. Well at least we know one of the televised games already

Hopefully they see fit to do away with the stupid ballot like they did for the Gillingham game. But then again we'll probably get the same crap excuse pedalled that there's no way to accommodate the away support other than by decimating the Park Lane support.

I really want us to go all out for this competition, 4th place seems to be the medias dream for every club but I'd much rather have a trophy if I'm honest.

I'd really like 4. It's my Spurs supporting youngest son's 18th the week after, and I'd really like to take him to the Lane once more before it becomes rubble.

"That's nonsense. I dislike spurs and I would love it if Brucey turned them over. You couldn't meet a bunch of more deluded fans than if you tried. They haven't finished in the top 2 for over 50 years and everyone thinks that they are a massive club"
we can probably put out a second XI to beat their first! Is that big enough for them?

And Man Utd. Think they have been on tv for all of their FA cup games going back about 20 years,

If it was guaranteed it wouldn't cause us to sell one of our best players I'd prefer to win the FA cup than get top 4 this season. We desperately need a trophy to bring winning mentality to the club.
Next season playing at Wembley is going to be hard enough without CL and to be honest it's been a shit experience. So much so that I don't even care if we're in CL next season, it just doesn't feel right, there's no buzz about it playing at Wembley.

Win the FA cup, play reserves in Europa next year and fully concentrate on the league. Hopefully get top 4 and have CL in our first season at new WHL when it'll feel authentic.

Yeah same. Wanna take my missus and her 6 year old (he's already mad on spurs) to a game so she knows what all the fuss is about :) me and my lad were members but the traveling up from Cornwall made it a ballache so didn't renew this year. His first game was Coventry in the cup a few years back and remember it was a good deal. Just hoping for similar this year
