Wasn't dangerous though was it? Took the ball clean and Nani didn't even dive, go down or react.

That was as clean a tackle you're likely to see imo.

But taking the ball cleanly and not getting the opposition player doesn't actually matter for this sort of challenge.

Yeah, he gets the ball, but he dives in with both feet off the ground, so he can't really complain.

Either way, that tackle still wasn't as bad as Lampard's against Wolves. And if Kompany misses our game at City I don't really care.

Get your bets in fellas, we're winning the title. There will shocking decisions and bad challenges, and depleted squads after this.

That's a red for me. Two footed scissor challenge off the floor. Dangerous.

Barely dangerous though, it was scissor but barely off the floor... It wasnt one of those tackles where he jumped at Nani.

Actually just seen he misses the game against us.... in that case good decision Mr Foy!!!

Just seen Paul Scholes has come out of retirement for united. Thihngs look desperate injury wise for them. They have Arsenal, Chelsea and liverpool coming up in quick succession. Add to that City having Kompany and the Toures out for their match against us, things are looking a bit rosier for us at present.

By the way I didn't know you could sign a player and have him registered so soon to play in a match. Unless he was never officially off their books??

yep. If he was let off for that challenge then makes a similar challenge later on and breaks someones leg then it would be a massive issue. The ref had no choice on this one i think.

1318: The red card was a huge decision. Chris Foy may well have just given Chris Hoy a very busy afternoon on Twitter!
