True, i wonder if we'll ever see a manager given the time and opportunity to run our club properly for 10 years or so. Maybe Jol could have but looking forward I think we need someone that is able to do this, Fergie and Wenger were given time and now the club sees the beneifts. They've set up the blueprint so even after they leave their good work can be continued.

BTW on a side-note, the Gooner fans in the South lower were very loud and properly sang their hearts out. Admittedly they sang 'your support is fucking shit' way too often when you consider that half the crowd (most of the crowd around where I was in block 3) seemed to be kids and parents, but still, if they managed to get some of that noise going at the Emirates every once in a while they wouldn't get half as many jokes about the 'library'. Is the Emirates far too expensive for the vocal Arse fan?

Oh, and anyone else in Block 1... could you see the ginger bloke that guy was yelling at for the entire match? I was trying but just couldn't see who he meant

I think because of Wenger's continous supply line of top youth products and the difficulty of getting tickets to Arse games, there are a bunch of fans who follow their youth team quite regularly.

The lack of desire from Parrett and Bostock particularly in the first half is really worrying..

This problem has been endemic at Spurs since I can remember

Last time the Mancs lost a successful, long term manager, it all went to shit for them. Took them through 3 or 4 managers before Tommy Docherty saved their arses from relegation in '73 only to see them drop the following year.

It was a big game, they are young, the Arsenal midfield closed down very well. Bostock had class though, he almost never lost the ball, him and Wiltshere just have something extra, you can see they are going to be top players.

I'd be surprised if the same thing happened again.

Not only that but because they are both similar all action midfielders they often leave major gaps in midfield, we were lucky on numerous occasions when Arsenal capitalized on the space available in the middle of the park.

Caulker looked good, has the aerial ability, quick, strong in the tackle and reads the game well. The next Ledley King? We'll have to wait and see.

Townsend was also decent, his pace is blistering. I imagine in two or three years time him and Lennon becoming full backs worst nightmares.
