Has there been any updates on when the appeal is?

Other than the promised video, he seems to be being moved more back of house.

surely a matter of time before he’s gone?

Think he was in the stands for West ham game. Isn't he normally in the dugout ?

He used to sit behind the dugout didn't he.

This is the most burning issue for me. Some clarity on his future clears up a lot going on at the club. As he seems to prefer a defensive coach I do wonder if the manager leaves what kinda person he is bringing in or wanting to.

I really really really don't want anymore negative coaches. We have had four years of it now and I've had enough.

I think he will go with Conte. Just don't want Hitchen back as his replacement.

Appeal was meant to be before the end of the month. No idea when UEFA were meant to be deciding if the Italian ban was Europe wide though. Not that will probably matter if he fails the appeal, Levy will have him out and quite rightly.

Very early days with transfers but think he has done well.

He signed some promising youngsters, established premier league players, foreign players that wasn't pulling up trees but saw the potential. Also signed an elite defender that by all accounts was highly sought after

I'm certain no other dof could have signed romero bentancur kulusuvski

If he leaves I see that as a bad thing

Agreed. I think he’s done exceptional well. Obviously he hasn’t moved players on but all prem clubs are struggling with that and hasn’t got the LCB we need.
Even Emerson is looking quality now and can play RB.
Only player I question is Gil as he isn’t built for the prem.

No they couldn't because they didn't have the inside track at Juve

Fabio should have been fired for turning down Ten Hag in favor of Gattuso and Nuno. Clueless. Can't wait until he's gone.
Pretty sure Paratici came in part way through our manager search after ETH had already turned Levy down (or vice-versa, though that would be even more damning on Levy).

Difference is that Liverpool backed Klopp to the tune of a lot of money.... We instead backed Poch a bit, then Mourinho a bit, then Nuno a bit and then Conte a bit more, while also wasting a whole bunch of money sacking the first three of those.
Spurs managers over last five seasons have been backed more so than at Liverpool but you do need to spend on the right players and not duds like N'dombele , can't remember if it's euros or pounds , these are the figures..
Spurs outlay 532.80 income 156.52
Liverpool outlay 500.95 income 213.27

West ham have outspent us over the last year and where are they, money doesn't always guarantee success.

Possibly but players like betnardo silva and David silva have similar builds and they been insane in the PL

I'd hoped we'd moved on as a nation from players not being built for the Prem League but you can't erase decades of conditioning that you have to be fast and strong I guess

Modric wasn't built for the PL either :ROFLMAO:

Yeah but it's not so much about body mass and everything to do with core strength, balance and body stance. You are talking about exceptions here and I'll add Zola to that list as well. All of them have phenomenal core strength, and used their bodies incredibly well. Gil just gets bounced off the ball far too easily, the others mentioned did not.

Core strength is something that can be developed though. I 100% agree that Gil is currently too weak for the PL and I haven't seen any evidence of this changing over the past 18 months.
