How many times this season has Fabregas played the im injured card? Then suddenly become fit for a big game. Reckon hell at least be on the bench for the Camp Nou and will start against us. But we can have him.

Palacios will do his leg properly!

As he is a professional player, it would obviously be gutting for him if he were to miss the rest of the league and the world cup (big if, I still think it's not broken, nowhere near).

That said, he plays for Spurs main rivals and also a rival to England, so of course I'd be delighted if he wasn't around in either of those capacities.

I'd probably forgive him for being a prick if he played for us (we've had a few), but the fact would remain he would still be a prick. As he doesn't play for us, I make no such forgiveness.

No chance of that bud even if he was fit. he's banned for tht game 3 yellows I think was mentioned.

I think Wenger and his players are dabbling in mind games because before the game both Fabregas and Gallas were "major" doubts for the game and they both started. I read somewhere that Wenger said the both of them would start on the bench with Sol in for Gallas and there was very little chance of Fabregas playing unless things were going pretty bad then he would be forced to play him.

I've seen players go off on a stretcher and later we hear its a slight fracture so unless Fabregas is on some sort of steriods or super drug then I can't see how he could carry on running like that if he broke his leg.

Stuart Pearce played on with a broken leg but he was called Psycho for a reason :)

Are you taking the piss? Fabregas has a serious nasty streak that has manifested itself on more than a few ocassions, as well as being a diver from time to time, which is probably the most shameful thing in the current world sport.

In addition, he chased the money and went to Arsenal at the age of 16 as opposed to staying with the club that taught him everything he knew and moulded him into the player he is today; if the message you want to send to children is 'fuck those who have created you, just sort yourself out my son,' then yeah, you're spot on

So we are judging him based on what he did as a 16-year old? Cool.

Me I rather focus on what a player he is and man o man he really is a very, very good player. 15 goals and 13 assists in 27 games? Crazy.

his last game in a arsenil shirt.

he isnt too popular in Barcelona tonight. he put his leg between Puyols to win the ball. Never a penalty in a million years
It was an accidental collision. Fabregas pulled his leg back and got it caught between Puyols legs. He certainly didn't play for it. The penalty was always going to be given though, because Puyol didn't get near to the ball.

But it wasn't a red. Puyol was just there, he didn't put his leg or arm out to touch him.

look what the little wanker said

"It is the fibula. I think I put my leg between Puyol's when I was fouled, and kicked it."

so how is that a foul when he admits himself to putting his leg between Puyols and then kicking Puyols leg

what's Puyol supposed to do stop marking him and let him run off. All Puyol was doing was marking him and Fabregas swung his leg back initiating contact with Puyol and he admitted as much himself and that's not a foul

Oh come on, his english is still a litle broken. His leg did go between puyols because puyol impeded him from behind.

It was a definite pen, but never a red.

he's been in England for close to 7 years he knows what he's saying that's why he said the little when I was fouled thing in the middle

Puyol was just running behind him and Fabregas swinging his leg back initiated the contact that's more a foul on Fabregas than Puyol

If Puyol was just running infront of Fab and he swung his leg forward kicking Puyol it would be a foul on Fab right

But he wasn't, he was behind Fabregas, Puyol saw Fabregas and chose to get in the way of the shot. It was clumbsy, but impeding nonetheless.

point is Fabregas initiated the contact

ok he didn't see Puyol behind him but that doesn't matter Puyols allowed to be behind him. Puyol didn't trip him or anything like that Fabregas swung his leg back and kicked Puyol.

how you can say it was definately a peno but then not a red doesn't make much sense either

anyway were obviously not going to agree so fair enough

I felt puyol instigated the contact, he purposely got in Fabregas' stride to stop him getting a shot away. Which was impreding in the box. Clumsy, but still a foul. probably obstruction more than anything.
