Fans displays at Games

I regularly go to watch European football and they put on amazing displays,I have watched Ajax,Rangers,Schalke and these displays adds to the spectacle of the game.
These displays are set up by the ultras at their respective clubs,we seem to be the only country in Europe that doesn't seem to have a ultras movement.I wonder why this is?

The Villa game this year was brilliant,it add to the event.

Yeah but did you the fire in the stands just before second half started?! delayed kick off for about 2 mins!! imagine if that happen in this country!!!

It was only 4 seats on fire and you left out the smoke bombs but what an atomsphere!
I cant imagine you get flares in a Epl ground now,the pikey game you pole had to be a certain length for your flag!

Agree it would be excellent to see a massive spurs flag unfurled at the start of games...but would the club be willing to pay for it?

I doubt it!

I know that the MILAN ultras...get paid by the club to make and display those kind of flags on the curva sud.

The best I've seen this season was at Metz, a huge banner with a message from the home fans saying 'We're all down the pub' (or French words to that effect).

We in block 31 enquired about getting a flag a few years ago. We would have payed, they would have stored it.
To say they wasn`t keen is an understatement. The club blamed the police and the police blamed the club with both of them blaming health and fucking safety.

Seen this a St Etienne Vs Lyon matches, i've been to 5 St Et/Lyon Derbies and the atmosphere is the closest to Us vs the Scum, the gigantic flags are the best.

Really! that`s fucked up....what`s wrong with our club sometimes.

Maybe try again, could be a bit of a wind change with the Ramos effect....No harm in trying.

ive seen some great card displays in my time (and been at quite a few at ibrox), but nothing beats Rangers vs Inter a few years back
