Farfan: I rejected Spurs for Schalke

Munich seem an impressive side, but really Bremen and the rest don't impress in European competition. Though Munich disappointed in the end of the UEFA Cup when they had to be massive favorites.

Not really a progression for Farfan in terms of Footballing career though, going from PSV to Schalke???

I'm guessing they are the Newcastle of Germany, thowing loads of cash and promises at players to land them.

Farfan would have been a quality signing for the price Schalke have paid.
