Has never played more than 33 games a season apparantly - injuries ???

Hope the club have been looking at him for some time and its not just a bounce after failing to land MM

He missed 17 games last season with a muscle injury and still managed to pick up 8 yellows in the league.

Various sites refer to him as strong in the air but slow and clumsy in the tackle.

He could be an Argie Dawson, meh or our Mertesacker.

The positions between Tottenham and Argentina have recently approached Central and all indicate that the English club would be willing to pay the clause.

The Central Sevilla Federico Fazio is about to go to Tottenham , who would pay the termination clause ( ten million euros ). The Argentine defender had several offers to leave and, as published online Nervión Pride , one of those possibilities is crystallizing out of Sevilla in the last hours.

The positions between Tottenham and Fazio recently approached and it appears that is with one foot in the English club . Fazio came to Sevilla in 2007 from Western Railway and has progressed season by season, from Sevilla subsidiary, culminating a campaign last year.

Already during the 2013-2014 year received offers from other clubs that struggled to gain his services, but decided to continue formarndo part of the Sevilla discipline.
