If being brutally honest they were lucky to get through the group stages winning each game. They made so many mistakes that went unpunished. Got to the latter stages and the quality opposition made those mistakes pay.

Disappointing result but 3rd place games are always difficult and we fought back well after a bad start and were unlucky with the var call.

Overall there is plenty of room for improvement, especially defensively, but I can't fault the teams passion and commitment and some of our attacking play was high quality.

I have really enjoyed the tournament and the record breaking viewing figures have shown how much interest is there, the US women's team have also shown what's possible with decent investment, hopefully FiFA and all the football federations will pull their fingers out and invest in their individual countries so future generations of girls will benefit.
