england might as well empty the midfield, and play wimbledon style long balls into the box. you aint going to win with 10 people passing it.

Swedish tv has Jonas Eriksson the international refery in the studio. Said it was a penalty straight away.

All they needed was the view from behind.
Before I saw that I thought no pen, but that clearly shows her striking foot was hit

I always wonder why forwards, the ones who's main job is scoring goals, don't always take penalties too.

Being a forward doesn't mean that you're better at penalties though. The best players in training should take them regardless of position.

Eh? He's done absolutely brilliantly. We're miles behind the US in terms of development and athleticism, it's plain to see, and yet we've played a very strong game against them and were a bit of composure away from extra time.
