Being a forward doesn't mean that you're better at penalties though. The best players in training should take them regardless of position.

A forward should be the best striker of the ball and the most adept at placing it out of the keeper's reach.

By all means, if you're a Milovojevic or another penalty supremo, take it. But that should be an exception rather than a norm.
