What do you lot think about some of the hugs and kisses from Phil Neville towards his players? I'm a bit surprised that someone would do that in this day and age.

Bit dodge. I have to admit I didn't watch the after match events but noticed when that USA lass (was it Lavel) was subbed near the end I saw P.Nev pat the back of her head when she walked past him.. I thought then 'careful lad' - risky ground.

i think its a mark of how well he relates to the players. They're adults. If there was any sniff of an issue, you'd hear about it. So if the players are fine with it, i'm fine with it.

One thing the womens game does lack, is when the chips are down , and your losing by a goal, noone has the idea to rain long balls into the box hoping for a var pen. Long ball is going to be fairly devestating for pens next season.

Good point, when there is a power imbalance like manager/player then it's very difficult for players to speak up in those situations. Not saying that's the case here of course, but just talking in general.
