Alright guys, I am taking my son to his first ever Spurs match on Boxing Day and its also my first time to Wembley! Am driving from Bath and was hoping for a good recommendation of where to park and get the train from?

Any suggestions appreciated!

You can park in someone's driveway in Wembley Park for less than £30 using websites like JustPark.com or www.parkonmydrive.com .

e.g. Link to JustPark (Wembley Park)

Park near Stanmore Underground Station and get on the Jubilee Line and it is only four stops.

You can find free parking but you will have to look for it,you can find Driveway parking for around £10

Do not park in the car park next to the station it can be a nightmare getting out some times.

Enjoy the game, hope it’s as open as the Everton game so your son has a first game to remember (y)

I park at Hillingdon station and get the train in to Wembley, about 20 minutes on the train and about £3 plus the parking at the station, pretty easy place to get to just off the M25 And plenty of parking

Hi mate, I do it from Bristol and have found an epic route. Don't tell anyone though as i want to keep it quiet!!!

Drive to South Ruislip station and get the overground to Wembley Stadium station.

You can get free parking on the side roads around the station (although most are only free after 5pm so you might have to do the station but i normally do the evening ones).

Where it gets extra good is when everyone is queuing to get to Wembley Park you can run straight to Wembley Stadium and get a lovely quiet (in comparison) train and be back to the station in 15 mins.

I once went from Hillingdon and it is good but dealing with the tube back is shit.

Uxbridge is on the Metropolitan line which runs to Wembley Park.

Hillingdon is on the Piccadilly line.

I'd look at tube map and pick a train station that has a car park near where you'll be coming in from.
I park at Harrow and Wealdstone which is only 4 stops away but you'd be going out of your way to park there as its North.
If you cant find anywhere else though.
Hope you and your son have a great day tomorrow.

I often park outside West Harrow which is only a few stops from Wembley Park on the Metropolitan Line. The parking is free on the road and when travelling back I am generally going in the opposite direction to others.

I travelled from Belfast to see us play Fulham in August at Wembley and I was really surprised at how soulless the place was. It was a great game and I got to meet up with a lot of friends but the highlight of the weekend was travelling up to see the New Stadium. I'm sure you'll have a great day at Wembley and hopefully we can get the 3pts. #COYS

*Actually I got to meet Dele after the game and he signed my match programme. So a great weekend all round ???

Obviously check the tfl website before you travel.

I’d be careful trusting Trainline today though, they still had the Overland lines from Clapham junction as working today and that’s completely closed.
