I think it would be best With a good start, and then its best to start With the smaller teams

I remember reading a BBC article on the way they choose the fixtures

It is heavily influenced by policing man-power in the area, which generally means that you don't play at home when another local team is playing at home (btw, that local team may not necessarily be in your division)

Anyway, it all means that there are actually only a small number of teams in your division that you'll be drawn against for your first fixture

It's always the same, we get a tough away game that we lose but it's not tough enough that we don't harbour hope of a win, thus dashing our optimism in a narrow defeat, whilst Arsenal play someone useless at home and win 6-0.

Crystal Palace away it is. I like it, good 3 points to start the campaign

Think we have to demand six points before we go to the Emirates. Not a bad start.

...and Spurs have managed to call WHL "The Hawthorns" :cautious:

Sky will love 31st August weekend. Spurs vs Arse and Liverpool vs Utd plus the transfer window closing.
