Milan are in 4th place because they beat Inter and fiorentina lost to lowly cagliari.

Who'd have guessed it, you couldn't buy results like that....oops?

 or even pass a new Act of Italian Parliament proposed by the Prime Minister - "AC Milan are legislated to finish in the Top 4 ad infinitum"

By Italian bloke I hope you mean Buffon, but assume you mean Amelia.

 I wish Buffon would come to Spurs! He does some class Puma ads too. (there's one where he makes the girls ride in the backseat as his puma's are in the front.)

our wage cap doesnt allow for the signing of players like him. we simply couldnt offer him the sort of wages he would want. only way we might be able to is on a free and pay him a huge signing on fee.
for anybody questioning whether he still has the ability or not he is a born leader and a winner which is what our young team needs so its not just a case of how well he plays its the extra bits he does just like davids e.g. helping lennon and others with extra training.
dont think it'll happen though mainly because there will be bigger clubs in for him and also the wage element

Speaking of wage cap. Did anyone hear this week's Guardian podcast, where Rafael Honigstein said that Flamini was on 2000k a week with Arsenal :eek:mg:

No wonder he left.

We don't have a wage cap. Well, not an individual one. Their is a rough squad one which is reviewed every year, but even this can be bent for the right player.

Our current highest earner is Woodgate on £60k. Then I think King and Keane are on about £40k. I don't know about Modric yet.
