If I have said it once I have said it a million times I would love Gattuso at the club unfortunately the only club he would return to the UK for would be Rangers. :-(

Gattuso is the player I've been saying we needed for many years now, or rather someone like him because we've never had a chance to get him, and probably still don't.

I ve watched Gattuso quite a few times and believe me : He s just another malbranque.

I think hes a bit better then Steed, and plays in a different possition, but in basis yes, and do you know what!? thats exactly what we need!!!:).......I will be in cloud 9 if this happens, but not expecting anything!!

Current talk is that Guttuso could end up at Bayern Munich.......

They have already picked up Borowski to replace Ze Roberto, who is rumored to be heading to the joke that is the LA Galaxy. I wonder if that would mean that Van Bommel might be let go, because it starts to edge into the too many cooks category, if they do.

With Flamini headed for AC Milan I wonder if Gattuso could actually become available - and maybe even consider WHL as a new home... thoughts anone?

Gattuso hasn't been great this season for them... still find it hard to believe they'd get rid of him. Flamini is on a free... he'll battle Gattuso for the spot I think. Milan don't have a great squad. I'd love to believe he'll come our way (he's on the record saying he would like to play in the EPL and also on record saying he'll end his career with Rangers) but I think he'll have another year at the San Siro.

They're sure to have a clearout after such a disappointing season, Barcelona also seems to be ready to clearout a lot of their players. We need to be sniffing around these teams. They've got unwanted players that could definitely do a job for us.

Gattuso being one of them. He's exactly what we need and he'd love the physical nature of the English game. Can't see any of the top four wanting him...but thats a good thing.

sure you've seen plenty of gattuso, but check this out. how perfect would rino be for us, such an angry little bastard. one of my fav all time players, im part italian and have followed milan for years since the baggio days, although havent seen much italian footy this season, but i doubt hes lost as much as people make out. 30 isnt past it, maybe we're the new challenge he needs. would be on hell of a coup.

rino and veloso sitting with modric and lennon on the wings/roaming would be awesome, maybe im dreaming.

I'm dreaming a very similar dream.

He hasn't been up to his usual standards to be fair this season, but in my opinion it is more extreme fatigue than loss of form. He has had a couple of niggling injuries but in true Rino fashion has ploughed on anyway. They have had a long season and when he has had to cover for Pirlo (who has become maybe the most lazy player ever) is a pretty tough job. In fact Gattuso was so fed up with his role in the team, shoved out on the right covering lots of ground, that he specifically asked that Milan get in a player who is capable of helping out with the leg work so that he can get back to his destructive best. Milan brought in Flamini which fits the bill there. It would suggest Gattuso would stay, but time will tell as it doesn't all seem perfect there. Milan qualifying for the Champions League might just persuade him to stay.

Christ! I didn't realise AC Milan had sneaked back into the 4th CL spot. Good chance they'll keep it now.

As you say IOMLS, I think our Gattuso dream could be over if they qualify for CL again.

well it looks like they will get the champs league place, but tbh i dont think it will make much difference to him joining us. Milan will be big spenders this summer i expect to replace many of their ageing squad, which could mean rino will fall down the pecking order. we will have to see. i will really come down to if he wants a new challenge and try himself in the prem while he still has a few good years left in him. if england is his next destination i believe we have a good chance.

Gattuso and Veloso bossing the middle of the park with Lennon tearing down the right and Modric drifiting in from the left to playmake - now that's a midfield.

Would definitely take Gattuso as our non-holding central midfielder if Lucho Gonzalez is out of the question.

Loved this quote

The good thing is that Flamini isnt anything special. Hell, Scott Parker does the same job. So does Reo-Coker. Players like Flamini are ten a penny. The best thing Flamini has done all season is to show Wenger the value of having a bit of dynamism and fight in the team.
Yea. Right. Only one of the best defensive midfielders in the country.
