Nasri's face was EPIC hahah. Kompany is the only one who reacted classy. Respect for him. I'm not surprised at all, Belgium lads are all classy.

My City-supporting mte will be shocked. After the semi-final he honestly thought it was as good as won.

Well done Wigan. One cup final down.

Martinez talking sensibly about holding off on celebrations until after their league games.

Somewhere in Buckinghamshire, I pen that lovely man an ode.

Heard James McCarthy tell a reporter on the radio when asked why he wasn't drinking champagne: "We've got a game on Tuesday and we've got to be prepared for that".

Absolutely fantastic, what a really nice change to see Wigan and Swansea win trophies this season as opposed to the usual suspects!

Watched the 2nd half in the pub with my brother in law and one of our mates. Was really pleased when Wigan scored but left the pub as soon as the whistle went. I was close to tears and wanted to be on my own for a bit.

My dad, a lifelong Spurs fan, played for Wigan as a semi pro and won the FA Trophy at Wembley with them in 1973, before I was a born.

He died 3 years ago and would have been at wembley today if he was still here. He'd been a Wigan season ticket holder since they've been in the PL and them winning today brought back a lot of memories of my dad.

I'm really glad they won today, it really is a remarkable story for them to win the FA Cup 40 years after winning the non league cup. Proud of their team today and my old man.

Edit; dropped a bollock there! They lost that final! As soon as I pressed send I remembered that, he won at wembley with a different team, Skelmersdale. Sorry dad!

Absolutely fantastic. And they fully deserved it. By far the best team on the day. And what a player Mcmanaman looks.

This is why this game is so fucking loveable isn't it. The team third from bottom turns up for a huge game against the second best team in the land and one of the richest in Europe and not only wins but outplays them as well.

What gets me is after the match wankers like Keane and Southgate saying "City clearly don't have a strong enough squad, they need to spend more". Completely missing the whole point. It wasn't Wigan's money that outplayed City.

Martinez deserves so much credit for that win. All he's been going on about recently is "believe" and the players clearly bought into it.

Even though it is nothing to do with Spurs, it is such a feel good thread for football overall.

Fantastic stuff, really really love this, great day for football and fits just right with our philosophy. "It is not just about winning, but the way that you win it" as I have always been told.
