Not saying it was a penalty but was he a teensy bit naughty with the trailing foot there?
I agree. I'm sure he didn't mean to put the studs in his opponents knee but he did.

I mostly posted the video as a counter to what was widely considered a terrible decision to give the PK.

Not sure which thread it would fit best into, but it won't get the traction it deserves in this one.
I thought there might be a general mental health oriented thread somewhere but I couldn't find it if there is.

This will be interesting if nothing else. He got a lot of credit at Derby but most I've read from those who paid close attention felt it was his assistant Rosenior who was the tactical brain. Rosenior's now doing a decent job at Hull.

Already unpopular with the fans by all accounts. He could be in for a tough time.

This made me laugh

This has frankly been coming since the day he took over. What worked wonders at Wycombe just doesn't translate to a bigger club no matter the connection he had with QPR as a beloved player.

Tuned in to Leicester v Leeds at half time and Leeds have been all over Leicester since the half started and just took a deserved lead from what I've seen.

Leicester look like dropping points for only the second time in 15 games.

Leicester managed to press Leeds a bit more after the goal but Leeds defended well and I'd say deserved it.

Winks was pretty good, played with his head up and tried to move things the right way as opposed to having his back to goal and playing safe like we too often saw with us.

Rodon was MOTM second half, stopped everything that came his way.

The red card to Bannan was overturned on appeal. I'm a little disappointed that such a deliberate and cynical foul to stop an obvious goal scoring opportunity was deemed only worthy of a yellow. I thought the ref did quite well to get the FK correct (instead of a PK) and to send him off even though there was a defender back on the line. But he also had two teammates to pass to for an easy goal. It's an obvious scoring opportunity IMO.

Refs seem to get punished for making a brave decision and then we wonder why they leave it to VAR when they get to the PL.

Stevenage win away at Wycombe to stay 5th in L1. It's a looong season but quite impressed so far. . .

Game only finished five minutes ago because of two horror injuries to Wycombe, one in each half. Stevenage getting a lot of grief for their rough tactics and the ref for allowing them to carry on with it on Wycombe fan boards. Classic Steve **** Evans.

Not previously heard that Stevenage are a particularly rough or dirty side by lower league standard.

You’ve mentioned your dislike of the manager before but his results with a club that should probably flit between non league and L2 have been impressive.

Fair to say this had started exactly as most expected
