Haha yeah......ok........

Tottenham:
Gomes
Sanchez
Corluka
Dos Santos
Bentley
Bostock
Pavlyuchenko
Campbell

Aston Villa:
Friedel
Guzan
Shorey
Young
Cuellar
Milner

Everton:
Jacobsen
Castillo
Saha
Nash
Fellaini

Portsmouth:
Crouch
Sahar
Little
Koroma
Kaboul
Thomas
Traore
Belhadj

Man City:
Jo
Ben Haim
Kompany
SWP
Zabaleta
Berti
Robinho

The only team out of them that I think have improved anywhere near as much as us is Man City, for you to say that Villa, Everton & Pompey have is ridiculous!

All I want is for us fans to actually support the club and understand that with Bentley, Dos Santos & Modric we have a very creative midfield with 3 strikers who are all good in the air (Campbell is small but has an excellent leap) and are also very quick!

You can't just look at who we have bought. You have to balance that against who we have sold as well and when you do that. We are probably weaker then we were at the start of the transfer window.

I like the way all the so called pundits kept saying we should have sold him weeks ago for what Utd offered (even though they hadn't offered til we reported them) as Spurs won't get their valuation and now they say Utd got their man without mentioning that we got our valuation.

Can't speak of the others but I do know a bit about Villa and they have addressed the weaknesses in their team (keeper, full backs, right midfield), added cover for centre of defence after losing Mellberg and will do very well this season.

Danny, name another team in the Premiership who lost their 3 best players last year?

Berbatov, Keane & Malbranque. Our 3 best players last year. Replaced with...

Pavluchenko (unproven), Campbell (unproven kid) & Gio Dos Santos (unproven kid).

So I think that’s why most fans are pissed off. Oh yeah, being beaten opening game of the season to Boro and at home to Sunderland with a ‘full strength’ team too.

What happens when King and Woodgate get injured? Because they will. Will we be relying on Dawson & Rocha? Okay I think Corluka could step in at CB but it’s not exactly ideal is it?

There’s a lot of reason for pessimism but not a great deal of optimism. For this coming season at least.

Agree with you Liberty. My expectations for the coming season are low, a top 7 finish and maybe a cup is the best we can hope for.

Hmm.. interesting move this.

I think everyone's forgetting we got £31m out of this deal too, which most people seemed reasonably happy with BEFORE Berba started going on strike.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about our options up-front, but Frasier Campbell does look tall, strong, fast and fearless.. all the attributes Premier League strikers need.

I'd doubt very much there isn't a price agreed for a permanent deal at a bargain price. Only time will tell.

Bye bye Berba. Try not to get injured (because you know you are due one right?)

I'll change my sig when I get chance :(

I actually feel really sorry for Frazier Campball, the poor lad doesn't stand a chance of here. I seriously doubt our fans are going to give him any time. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

If he scores, then everyone at WHL will support and back him...

Why the fuck didn't we just keep Pekhart?

Pekhart is just as highly-rated a talent as Campbell, surly? If he stayed instead of us loaning Campbell, we'd be giving him valuable first-team action, we've done the opposite, instead were doing more favours for MUFC by giving their highly-rated striker valuable first-team action by loaning him for a year whilst shipping our own highly rated striker out to Southampton.:-|

If Campbell does well for us he'll be heading straight back to Old Trafford at the end of the season. Awful move, in my opinion.

Because Campbell has played very successfully in the Championship, whereas Pekhart hasn't particularly impressed with our reserves. It's absolutely amazing that so many people bang on endlessly about Pekhart when only the tiny handful of Spurs supporters who follow the ressies have actually seen him play. A season with a decent Championship side is a great move for him and the club.

Do you really think we've taken Campbell without an option to buy? If he comes good he'll stay, if he doesn't he'll go back.

This site really proves why other teams hate us....most of the people on here are f*cking idiots they really are. Cant you open your eyes and see that we bought:

GOMES
CORLUKA
MODRIC
BENTLEY
DOS SANTOS
PAVLYUCHENKO
CAMPBELL (who for all we know may have clause for us to buy him as it was too late to sign the papers once the deal was done)

We finally sign a excellent GK (GOMES), some of the worlds most exciting young talent (MODRIC,DOS SANTOS,BENTLEY), an exellent utility player (CORLUKA), a PROVEN WORLD striker (PAVLYUCHENKO) and a very highly rated young striker (CAMPBELL) and yet you still call for Levy & Commolli's heads. I for one am not gonna bother coming on this site for a good while because all it is is doom mongers who, no matter who we sign, will always slag off our team!!

Name one other club who has improved as much as we have.........there isnt one!!! So get over the fact that our two strikers were absolute *****s and wanted to leave and get behind our team, otherwise I advise you to go & support another club because we dont need fans like you lot.

villa, man city have both improved just as much as we have if not more. we didn't sign campbell so even if their is a god and the kid turns out to be good, ferguson will just pump up the price. the fans are pissed off with levy and comolli because they had almost a year to sort out a replacement for keane, and they didn't.

He has compared to last summer. Last summer we needed an experienced CB, an experienced CM and a LW. We got absolutely none of these. I think because the summer window is so long, that we actually made some seriously impressive big name signings. Compare Bentley, Gomes, Corluka, Gio, Pav and Modric to the signings made in other transfer windows. 2 of those players were in the Euro 2008 squad of the tournament. Gio is one of the most talented young players in the world. This is the best squad we've ever had. I bet every player we signed was specifically asked for by Ramos. Other than not paying the Arshavin money, Levy has given him everything he has asked for. Ramos is one of the best paid managers in the world. We can't keep saying he doesn't have the players. At some point he has to do show his worth as an actual coach.

I bet Bentley wasn't... I bet he asked for a left winger which is why he has started the season playing Bentley on the left.

Not enough time to complete a permanent transfer I would guess, seeing as it was all probably done a the very last minute.

A left winger? So not happy with Bale, GDS, or Modric, who weren't available last season? Who did he expect?

The Campbell signing seems to be akin to answering the door expecting to find Anna Kournikova in a see-through nightie asking for 'a cup of sugar' but instead finding Amelie Mauresmo in dungarees.

But you're all forgetting that we've already got Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova up in bed.

I don't know about you but I suspect we're only really going to want to shag one women's tennis player at a time, so assuming Ivanovic and Sharapova fail to sustain my erection, I don't see what harm it can be to have Mauresmo in the wings clutching a tub of vegemite and a bicycle pump.

Yes?
