Tottenham Hotspur have rejected Atletico Madrid’s £16 million offer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg although it is expected the clubs will reach a deal for the Denmark midfielder. Tottenham have renewed interest in Franck Kessié, the defensive midfielder who they tried to sign from AC Milan before he joined Barcelona as a free agent last summer. The 26-year-old only started seven of his 28 league matches last season and Juventus have been trying to sign him initially on loan.

Absolutely this - he’s fucking pony. Slow, immobile, average.

Must admit, not been particularly impressed when I've watched him. Maybe just the games I've seen him in but remember a game he played for Milan v Liverpool in the CL and he was chasing shadows most of the game and didn't seem too difficult to play around.

This feels like an opportunistic signing again. We'll struggle to shift him on in 2 years. Hard no from me.

If we are looking for another CM/8 then Kone, Thuram and Lavia are the types we should go for. Will never happen though.

He’s one of Conte’s top targets though 🤔

Repeat after me, Ange is building a squad and Daniel is definitely not collecting footballers, regardless of who the manager is.

We'll sign Kone because Levy will save money by making him number 10 and only having to change one letter on his shirts.

He’s really not that good, is injury prone and on big wages. No thanks.

we need more HG, especially with Kane going.

if we really want a top foreign dm then it should be amrabat, dembele’s heir apparent. Great player available for £25m.

not sure with bissouma, sarr,l and skipp being able to play the 6 position if we would even look to buy another 6 but if we did, amrabat would be the one I’d go for but he’s being lined up by utd.

due to HG issues and Gallagher £50m price tag, don’t be surprised if we revisit Alex Scott as a cheaper alternative.
