Was just having a convo with a fellow Spurs fan about Frank Arnersen - and whether he left any sort of legacy during his short stay at spurs.

I certainly think the 2004 Summer Transfer window was possibly the most pivotal window for spurs in recent history.

Do you guys think Arnersen left a legacy? ie. - are we still seeing the results of his short stay at Spurs today?

It was a great change for Spurs. The mid nineties to early 2000's were dreadful bar the league cup win. We seemed to make one huge signing a season but never had a team. Even when we did try to buy a team it was the likes of Sherwood, Leonhardsen, Perry, Vega etc.

I just remember that first game having a whole new team it seemed. Edman, Pamarot, Mendes, Lennon, Robbo, Carrick, Naybet etc. We weren't actually a laughing stock anymore. He got the ball rolling. I bet he had wished he had stayed at Spurs in someways

Well we still have Huddlestone and Dawson, so that's part of the legacy. :D

But I think its hard to parse out what he did vs the overall trajectory that was taking place under the new ownership. I would say that he led us back to the continent. Even after Sugar, who was kind of hesitant to go the continent (but less so than we remember), Levy didn't start going to it much when he first came in. Arnesen really started to diversify our scouting network and that has been a bit of a his legacy.

Also he made sure we would never deal with Chelsea again.....so that's good

He was definitely apart a fundamental part of a huge change at spurs during that summer - one which acted as a catalyst for everything that has followed.

What sort of impact did he have on our youth development?

We are just starting to see what looks like a pretty talented generation of footballers coming through (whether or not they go on to play for the first team is another question). How much of this is down to the complete overhaul of a youth program and was Arnersen involved in this?
