I'm no boxing expert, but I don't know how Freddy won that. He was throwing slaps rather than punches and wasn't landing many of them. Happy for him though and at least he didn't make a foul out of himself.

Good win, he was the most aggressive, but I don't think he should carry on unless they can improve his punching technique. Thanks to those who posted me the links.

The other fella didn't throw a punch to be fair (apart from the one he knocked him down with). Had to be 10-8 for the one he knocked him down in and a narrow win for freddie in the other 3 due to landing a few (3? 4?) more shots in the other rounds. Absolute farce to be honest. That fella had broken someone's ribs in a fight before this apparently. He'd have been lucky to have put flintoff's hair out of place in this one.

I'm pretty sure that guy knows he wasn't supposed to catch Freddie like that. Wasn't following the script. Has backed right off since. Wasn't throwing much beforehand either for that matter. He certainly knows he isn't being paid to try and win here.

Agreed! He was there just for the cash IMO. Told to take it easy. Went off the gas immediately after knocking Flintoff down and then just defended comfortably for the rest of it. If he wanted to, he would of easily of beaten Flintoff. If he was as eager as Flintoff it would of been over very quickly.

That was just ridiculous, this guy was meant to be a puncher and threw literally nothing whilst Flintoff was wild with little technique. Can't see him going much further with this venture.

He landed a few in the last round, including two clear one's to the head in a couple of seconds, albeit not with much force behind them. But yeah, he didn't do much himself and Flintoff was the aggressor which must have swayed it his way.

Dawson knew his role in proceedings.

Fair play to Flintoff for getting in the ring, even having a full on spar takes courage. He is woeful though, it must be said.

Disappointing that Price got a quarter of the coverage in the press.
