Looks like that spot might be covered by Radja Nainggolan... another player with an equally difficult name to pronounce properly!

I have really never been very impressed by Nainggolan. He's a decent player, but I've never thought much more of him than that.

Natkho's actually a really good player and if given the choice between Guarin, Natkho and Nainggolan, I'd easily give the nod to Natkho. Unfortunately we've never really been linked to Natkho and my opinion means jack shit.

I've found there has been a tendency over the last number of seasons for us to be linked with the better players from teams we have played in recent years. Whether it's guys from Young Boys, Rossi, goal scoring full backs etc etc. I just think it could be another one of these, although we may have put in a bid.

Sorry, I've confused you. I was talking about Bibras Natkho, the Rubin Kazan player that Snarf brought up as a cheaper (better?) option. Guarin has a few years still.

No thanks. Not worth a penny over 10mil painfully average player and I'd really be dissapointed if AVB wanted him here. He's like dembele only he isn't great when running wlth the ball. He's also very selfish and thinks he's the second coming of rivaldo despite being off target with most of his shots. His passing is very limited, but not because of a lack ng range but instead because he doesn't know when to pass aand who to pass too. He's an incredibly frustrating player that I'd hate to see at the club.

Since Guarin seems to be on our short longlist or long shortlist I did the youtube thing.
Can't say he stood out when we played them, but there's a touch of the Rijkaard's about him for me; elegant & a good runner with an all round kinda game.
Also, I figure whomever comes in be it Paulinho / Guarin or otherwise, we're looking to populate the right side of the three with Dembele left and Sandro DM.
Does this lack a bit of nous? Maybe but Moutinho & Guarin played either side of a DM at Porto; it's similar and a simple look at our squad demands an upgrade in that role to convert effectively to 4-3-3

According to Inter itk's, the interest (spelling) is real, but not the amount..But we are not the only ones. Inter are trying to re-organize both the structure in the club and the finances..so if we buy anyone from Inter, this is a good time..Since they dont play in Europe next year and need longer time to get back on the feet..

Yeah, this. Quality player but there's box-to-box types that I'd much rather have and appear to be openly available (including Paulinho).
