GK: Lloris, Vorm, McGee

DEF: Walker, Trippier, Rose, Davies, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Walkes, Carter-Vickers, Amos

MID: Dembele, Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Mason, Carroll, Winks, Edwards

FWD: Kane, Janssen, Harrison

Would put Amos under the MID group. Hopefully Poch gives him a the 2nd half In his preferred CM/DM position.

My formations/players for each half would look like

1st Half
----------Lloris

Walker - Toby - Wimmer - Rose

-------DIer - Dembele

Lamela - Alli - Eriksen

------------Kane

2nd Half

----------Vorm

Trippier - Toby - CCV - Davies

---------Amos - Winks

Carroll - Mason - Eriksen

----------Janssen

Wouldn't CCV partner with Wimmer? I know he probably is most used to the LCB role, but if he's going to be depth for the position, shouldn't he play in the RCB in preseason?

From Waynama on Twitter

"Really sad I couldn't make it to Oslo. Was looking forward to playing Inter, unfortunately my visa didn't get processed in time "

That sounds like a cock-up by someone in Spurs admin, not realising our Kenyan needed a visa until too late in the day. If I was Poch and had planned to try Wanyama with Dier or Alli tomorrow, I'd be annoyed at that.

Why the fuck are we travelling so much before the season starts, any danger of having a few friendlies in England?

Good to see our Euro lads back amongst it now. Hopefully get to see Janssen and Kane up top for a bit.

My guess is we'd rather player tougher opposition than lower league clubs, plus generates more money plus marketing in Oz and Norway. Plus, obviously cannot do a home friendly this time.

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Wimmer Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

----------------------------------------------------

Janssen/ Harrison
Carroll Mason Edwards
Winks Amos
Davies Walkes Carter-Vickers Trippier
Vorm/ McGhee
Looking at that, I can't imagine an AM/ wiseman of some description isn't very close. Edwards, albeit talented, is completely untested while Mason and Carroll haven't shown anything beyond steadiness. At least we know that in defence Vertinghen is an option, in midfield Wanyama is an option, but with Son at the Olympics and Chadli seemingly on his way we really need some form of comparable talent to rotate with Eriksen, Lamela and Alli.

Could be why yedlin hasn't gone as well.

It's ridiculous we haven't got a single one. Surely we could have played away at another local London club. Charlton or Orient or something.

Not entirely true as we had 3 friendlies at the training ground against lower league teams.

Think Poch likes doing them at training ground to try different things out ie Dier in midfield

I guess so. We don't know if the games at the training ground are proper 90 minute matches either I guess or an exercise with both teams trying out different things.

I would want to see how CCV reacts to having Toby guiding him and assisting him on the field. Plus we want Toby to be match fit, so I would give him the full game or 75 mins atleast.

Personally I'm hoping to see the majority of our first team playing the majority of this game.

We've had plenty of time to assess the youngsters it's time to get our first team used to each other again and back up to speed.

Yup but I'd rather the cock-up happened for a pre-season friendly than a crucial Champions League match. No excuse now for not getting a visa for VW for all our away CL games.

Nigeria just won the first game they played at the Olympics last night over Japan. They left Atlanta yesterday morning and went right to the stadium for the game when they arrived at the airport. Travel didnt mean much there

We played friendly matches at the training center before the Aussie ICC games and we're only in Norway at the moment. I think we're fine.

You don't know what detrimental affect it has until the season gets underway, so how would you know if we're fine?
