Would be disappointed if he went to Woolwich but also wouldn't be disappointed if we missed out.

However they're really not as creative as City so he likely won't get as many chances or goals as he does at City, however he could do really well here.

Not sure. Think I'd rather Sterling if we're after either of the two

Hes not good enough for Arsenal, he's scored a few goals [5], but he's missed some easy goals. Arsenal shouldn't be extending his contract
When he was given a run of games he scored 4 in 6. His England youth record is prolific and scored 3 in 7 in europa.

I think working with Kane and son would help him too.

also allows us to save spending £45m on Jesus and use that for Bastoni.

Jesus isn't someone i particularly like, but Weghorst...crikey
Partly for @Stoof, but also like I said, he’s been linked before and now Burnley are down he may be available and cheap - very much in Levy’s wheelhouse.

In reality, GJ is substantially better than either Moura or Bergwijn, while also being able to deputise for any of our front 3 including Kane.

Plus Arsenal want him.

The more I think about it, the more sense this makes.
Substantially better? Based on what?

For balance, he has done this in just 1,880 minutes (slightly more mins than Lucas has for us this season), which means he has a goal involvement every 117.5 minutes.

For comparison:
Kulusevski 97.46 mins per goal contribution
Son 100.7 mins per goal contribution
Kane 124.3 mins per goal contribution
Bergwijn 137.75 per goal contribution
Lucas 221.76 per goal contribution

So from a numbers perspective he'd represent a significant upgrade on Bergwijn and Lucas and would offer competition to the front 3.
From a numbers perspective? I’d be interested to know which teams he faced, and what the score was when he came in as sub.

I don’t know, but would suspect that he’s been playing against the weaker clubs where City were scoring for fun.

‘EPL proven’, senior player at a ‘winning club’, covers various positions. …
Didn’t Poch want him round 2017?

I like both Bergwijn and Lucas but Gabriel is a step up from them, our bench is thin, we're an injury away to Kane, Son and Dejan from being short, plus all the extra games next season. If either of our 3 forwards is injured he can step in. I doubt we'll get him but he's a good option

I’ll be honest and say I’ll take him as another centre forward rather than having no other option, but I’m sure there are other options. Weghorst, Martinez, De Katalere are just 3 off the top of my head that we’ve been linked with in previous windows they might be considered.
Due to his outspoken anti-vax views, I'm no longer Team Wout - which on reflection means a lot of wasted love.

Rodrigo Bentancur, however. Wow. What a beautiful footballing man.

The Bentangoat is truly a fine slice of filth.

what a hard SUHS, rather than Zoose?
Yeh I read that wrong and I'm confusing myself here.

To be clear, phonetically it's:

"Jay" - "Zoose"

Although the "J" and "Z" sounds aren't exactly the same as in English, the "J" is more of a soft "J" and "Z" is kind of a hybrid "S" and "Z".

Our very own lucas moura also has some very questionable views and has openly supported bolsinaro's insane policies back in Brazil.

Your argument is a tough position to defend.

Sounds to me like you’ve got a pre determined opinion and you’ll fight that lazy fight until the bitter end irrespective of a counter argument(s).

Essentially trying to reason with you is a chronic waste of time.
Agree. I know what I'm watching and base my opinion on that. Stats only tell you so much and can be very misleading, as in this case.

Your initial post went onto say “I dont need stats to know he's shite”.

I’m of the opinion 99 out of a 100 coaches would back stats all day long over an arm-chair critics opinion of a Brazilian international.
